Everyone that works here is top notch! I recommend this hotel to anyone!I had a reservation at a nearby hotel during the week of Thanksgiving, but because I had booked online with a third party they couldn’t honor my reservation. Luckily, the Days Inn in Flatwoods had availability, AND went out of their way to accommodate a special need I had. The employees here were extremely understanding and kind. They helped me with every inquiry I had and were genuinely good people. Seriously, so much smiling and kindness! During the holidays?! These folks were rockstars!A few other nice things to note are that the lobby area is beautifully decorated for the holidays, the free breakfast buffet was on point, and the pool and fitness center are in great shape (cardio equipment only).Keep in mind that this is an older hotel and is a little outdated, but the comfort, care, and cleanliness are 5/5 stars! This hotel is also a conference space, so their property and parking lot are large and well lit. The hotel is pet friendly (one dog policy; no cats), and has a bar and restaurant. The beds were comfortable, and the front desk had small, free toiletries we had left behind.I WILL stay here again when visiting family in WV. Thank you Flatwoods Days in and Conference Center for an excellent stay!

Super friendly and extremely helpful staff. Comfortable and very clean rooms. The morning breakfast was more than expected and the amount and taste of the food that is served at the restaurant is worth every penny!

Great place to stay! Very friendly and helpful employees. Cleanest hotel room we've ever stayed in, even corridors were spotless and smelled so fresh and clean. Buffet breakfast had large selection of choices and all were fresh. Highly recommend this Days Inn & SuitesRooms: Cleanest rooms with lovely towels!

Sounds like others reviewing this hotel had similar experience. I called the hotel direct to book the room. Was told all in order, but then when I arrived, I was told someone cancelled my reservation?? What the heck ! I told them, I did not cancel it ! They said, not a problem, we've got a room for you. It was the same kind of room I originally booked. I liked everything else and for the price, I can't say much. I use the hotel to shower and sleep pretty much as I'm on the go most the time so don't use many of the amemities. Although the restaurant was nice and I enjoyed the breakfast and evening meals. I'll use this hotel again, but will make sure I have a confirmation number before I hang up. I would be quite upset if I got there and a room I had booked was no longer available. Will give them another chance.

I stay at a lot of hotels for work all over the east coast from Maine to Florida to about Missouri and I have to say this is the overall best hotel that I've stayed at the past couple of years.1. The shower pressure is great!2. The beds are comfortable and the comforters (blankets) are the perfect, on the thinner side but still warm enough to keep you warm with the AC on max cool.3. THE BISCUITS!!! They are baked to a buttery and crispy perfection!4. (Continuation of point 3) Breakfast as a whole has a nice spread with lots of options from eggs, sausage, sausage & gravy, home-fry potatoes, waffles, cereal, poptarts, fruit, etc.5. There's a restaurant in the hotel on the lobby floor where you can order dinner.6. There's a firepit on the backside of the building with lots of seating and a killer view of the beautiful West Virginia landscape7. Unlimited parking (basically). The parking lot is HUGE. My company was able to pull six 53' trucks and trailers all side by side in this lot with ease.8. I've listed a few reasons why I think this is a great hotel overall if you're in need of one in the area, so I'll say two things that may be a con for some people.A. There are no microwaves in the rooms. Each floor has one microwave across from the elevators.B. There are no cameras in the hallways.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and efficient at check in and check out. Was nice to have a breakfast buffet included. The staff in the restaurant made sure all items stayed stocked and clean. Our room even included a balcony!

The place is nice but could use some attention to details, big and small.1. The room did not have a DO NOT DISTURB sign in the room.2. The room was not cleaned during our stay so we had to call for towels.3. The indoor pool was not clean. The water didn't look clean and when I jumped in it the floor of the pool was slippery, slimish.4. There were no towels at either pool.5. Lots of fast foos restaurants just down the hill from the hotel but no short path to make it a short walk. You have to walk it as if you're driving so it's a longer walk. Not to mention that everyone in the area seems to drive a big pick-up truck and they drive like they're on the speedway. So it makes it more dangerous.

A reasonably nice place. The internet was horrible and I ended up using my own data to do anything on the internet. The room wasn't well maintained. It was comfortable, but had issues with the safe not working the shower curtain rod about to fall off of the wall and a light in a dimly lit room with no lightbulb. When I reported these things they did send a maintenance man, but I am wondering why they didn't catch these things before my stay.

I'M COMING BACK!Beautiful view from breakfast area. Two sinks were great because one could be in the bathroom and the other still have access to water. We also appreciated the table that pulled out from the desk. We like to play cards after a long day and it was nice to be able to do that comfortably in our room. Every staff member was great including cleaning staff. And the room was so clean feeling!!This hotel will be my first choice should I be in the area again!

Centrally located in the middle of WV. Stopped here on the way back from the northeast for a quick overnight rest, even though we were close to home.Booked a double Queen room via third party and arrived to the hotel. Large hotel with 2 towers of rooms and a conference center in the middle.Unfortunately, our double Queen room was sold out and the only options were a double full or a suite. We asked for the suite and to pay the difference and the front desk refused to do this and instead downgraded our family of 4 to a double full basic room. Not happy about this, at all.The rooms are very dated, but clean. There is a pool and fitness center in the south tower, and a restaurant/bar in the north. The breakfast buffet was good, but avoid the eggs. Can’t explain the texture, but it wasn’t a good one.Likely we would stay here again, but the customer service experience at check in and being downgraded was not ideal. We likely wouldn’t return and would leave for elsewhere if we had a similar check in experience.

Very impressed!! The rooms were IMPRESSIVLY clean. The night and morning desk employees were extremely kind. The breakfast was DELICIOUS. Even the view from the dining area was really pretty. They even had some sitting area outside!! 10/10 would stay again. Fantastic foe the price.Rooms: So so clean. It might be outdated for some. But it was impressive how clean it was for it's age.Food & drinks: The breakfast (which is complimentary) was really good! I was thinking it was going to be some sad pile of eggs but they had DELICIOUS breakfast sandwiches and fruit and all sorts of things!Noteworthy details: The night front desk employees were very nice. I find that surprising because normally they tend to be cranky in my experience.

Place was booked. We had booked through a 3rd party for 2 queens but on arrival found out the only available rooms were a suite, two fulls or one double. The front desk registration refused to let me upgrade to the suite even with offering to pay additional which wasn’t exceptional customer service in my opinion. They had the room available and easily could have upgraded us but instead downgraded us.Rooms were meh. Parking was good. Location was good. There’s a lot around compared to other exits off I79. We will most likely be back and hopefully we get the room we paid for.

The hotel is very large and contains a conference center. There is a restaurant onsite, operating again. The food is good and the breakfast is the best. The rooms definitely are showing their age. You can feel the broken concrete floors through the thin carpet. The bathrooms are very small. The balconies are a really nice feature though. There is a pool outside and it's clean and maintained. It's not very large but great for kids.Nearby activities: Plenty of recreational areas nearby surrounding the Sutton Lake. Bigfoot Museum, Flatwoods Monster Museum, Centralia (geographic center of WV) are all nearby.Food & drinks: The Mexican restaurant in the plaza across the interstate is really good. The Italian restaurant, Stancatis, south of the hotel on rt4 a few miles is good and delivers (not open late though).

We stopped here on a road trip and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was! Everything was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. The woman who was attending the breakfast buffet (I'm so sorry, I didn't catch her name!) was especially kind and very attentive. Excellent service and value!

They were able to provide a 4 night stay for me after their "step -sister" hotel (Microtel) down the road over booked. I had reservation's that I had booked and paid for it full in March 2023 they would not honor. But Days Inn saved the trip. I wasn't given the discount for the event but I didn't have to sleep in my vehicle. Staff were friendly and Inn was clean as well as very comfortable. I drink a lot of coffee so it would have been nice to have more coffee available in the room. Had a very nice stay. They also get a gold star for having a Bible in the room.
