Being in this gallery was one of my favorite experiences during our trip to the Blackwater State Falls area. Echoing the reviewer who said to definitely go upstairs, if for no other reason than to see the handrail for the stairs. There are many great art stores in the Thomas/Davis area, and Creature is easily one of the best. For me this is my favorite store with what I might call "very unique" art. So many original pieces. My favorite are the "heart" series. I'm certain you'll be able to find something you'll like and can afford here.I recommend checking out their calendar. 12 months of beautiful art for a great price.

Just impressive! Loved exploring this place and learning about Seth’s journey. They had artwork with price ranges that could work for all. Anything from a $2 pin, to $6-$15 cards, to the more expensive art work/framed drawings. I know on some of the cards, half the money goes to organizations focused on giving to local communities through their worthy causes. Lovely. Worth a stop for anyone.

Creature had an amazing vibe and is jam-packed with outstanding work from a man who seems to have a gift for tapping right into that which makes us human. I was moved to tears more than once perusing the exhibits and I am so glad we visited. I left with a new print and a fire in my belly to create more myself. Thank you, Seth, for this hidden gem.

His art has made its way all across the state, and farther! I finally got to visit the studio, Creature, and it's amazing inside. Framed originals, prints in all sizes, greeting cards, and so many unique options. This is a great place to browse for a long time and buy unique print gifts for friends. Not to mention... the custom neon signs out front are pretty rad. Be sure to check it out.
