Apparently, nobody at AT&T. Knows what they're doing or knows how to do. Anything pertaining to activating a phone. I ended up at the president's offices in san diego to finally get my issues resolved.

I recently had a not-so-great experience at the AT&T store in Triadelphia, WV. My intent was to go in and buy a new phone with cash, as well as some accessories to upgrade from my current phone. Unfortunately, the sales associate I worked with was ill-informed about the phone I wanted and couldn't answer many of my questions. To make matters worse, they had trouble looking up my account, adding to the frustration.Feeling increasingly frustrated, I decided to call AT&T's customer service line (611) from the store and spoke with a representative. I was able to purchase the phone I wanted over the phone, bypassing the need to rely on the in-store associate who was not able to provide the information I needed. When I returned to the store to look at phones and purchase the accessories I needed, I was fortunate to encounter the manager or lead of the store, who proved to be much more informed and helpful. They kindly sold me the accessories I needed, which was a relief after the initial frustration with the sales associate.Overall, my experience at the AT&T store in Triadelphia was not a good one. The sales associate was ill-informed and unable to assist me properly, causing extra stress and effort on my part. The saving grace was the manager or lead who was more knowledgeable and provided the assistance I needed. I hope that the store takes note of these shortcomings and works towards better training and customer service in the future.

Carter Kerekes. What a guy. Great sale, took care of my family’s needs, and on top of that gave me a HUUUUGE amount of savings on my bill. Great sale from an even greater guy! Give this man a raise and a promotion!

Went in here to see about upgrading my phone since AT&T was going to give me $800 for the phone I had. They told me I had dead pixels on my screen. Looked up a you tube video to see how to check that by putting it in diagnostic mode after I left. I couldn't see any areas with dead pixels, nor could any of my family. When I got back to my state, I went to an actual AT&T owned store and what do you know, I traded it in with no issues and they salesman didn't say anything about my phone having dead pixels. I don't know if they just don't know what they're looking at, don't want to to the work or just want to make more money on the sale. Whatever it is, the guy at my local store had no problem doing a trade in.
