I tried buying a garden tractor in the store. It was a train wreck!! No one there in "customer service" knew what they were doing, and appeared more interested in talking about their weekend. I did customer service for 33 years and not only was I treated poorly but I felt like a pain in the butt to a couple of the reps that I will not name. I came home and completed the transaction on line. It's sad that I knew more about what to do than the actual "professionals" did.....SAD I'm from Vienna, WV, not SF California. I adjusted the rating from 1 to 3 stars. Customer service in Atlanta was very helpful and the delivery rep went above and beyond in helping me.

The competence, the costumer service and accountability are sorely lacking. My mother in law has had to return to the store TWICE. Once because of a mistake an employee made and did the absolute minimum to correct. The second instance was a mistake that the warehouse made in sending the wrong pieces. However the employee that her and my husband spoke to at the store itself was not apologetic at all and did NOTHING to correct it. We are not people who complain, ever. But this is just too much, and I’m half tempted to shout about the incompetence and lack of accountability from the rooftops.

I ordered a Honda Mower and used the home delivery option based on the statement get by Thursday 4/22. FedEx shows that my mower will be delivered as stated. I waited all day and at 6:00pm I tried to reach FedEx but only got an automated chat. After more than 2 hours calling texting and emailing they update the tracking to say delivery date unavailable. Home Depot gets an F for using FedEx!FedEx advised me to join their premier group to get all of the information I asked for. For free they don't know, BUT, pay us to be in our premium club and we will tell you where your mower is. FedEx is BAD!

I ordered a stackable washer and dryer online. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday December 26th from 3:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. which I feel is ridiculous to deliver something that late to someone's home especially when it gets dark so early. my husband and I disconnected our old washer and dryer in preparation for the delivery. we did NOT receive my delivery. No notice of cancellation of delivery was communicated to us in any form. I called on Monday to see why I did not rece

In the midst of remodeling an older home for our daughter who is an Intervention Specialist for pre-school children, we experienced very good consumer service in all departments. Doug however in the check out area would not honor our 10% discount which ALL other cashiers have honored. After paying per debit card ( cash,) he followed us to the transport vehicle not to assist with unloading..... rather monitoring the box on the bottom which we conveyed was crushed on the end. W

I purchased paint at the Home Depot in Parkersburg WV and they tinted it wrong. I took the paint back to the Home Depot in Zanesville and the Assistant Manager reused to exchange it even though they admitted the girl tinted it to the wrong color! He told us to take it back to the Home Depot in West Virginia because he did not want the markdown. WHAT? Is this not the same company? Is there not a pandemic with our government asking us to minimize our travel? Can’t believe how bad their customer service has become. Bad management always puts profit before customers, which leads to less profits, retail 101 guys. I used to prefer HD but find myself gravitating to Lowe’s, wonder why?

Terrible customer service! Asked an employee to make a key while I shopped to save some time. She was extremely rude because I interrupted her conversation with a co worker and then proceeds to demand the key be purchased before she could let the guy make any copies. The lady at the register apologized for the supervisors crappy attitude. Sad the cashier was more focused on the customer then the manager.

My husband purchased a range from Home Depot on 1/8/2020. The salesman was so nice. After asking me which one I wanted he bought a expensive range (we live 50 miles from the store). Signs everywhere on the ranges stated "Free Delivery" on appliances over $389 dollars. Needless to say it was well over that. Lots of time wasted picking it out. Was told no ranges in stock (they never stock them, remember that). Then I find out that they do not deliver to my zip code of 25270. They deliver to 25276 which is 1/2 mile from my home along Rt. 14 just outside Spencer almost within sight. Now they want $79 to deliver. I am still without an oven to bake. I do not recommend The Home Depot. They do not have their own delivery trucks, they hire someone to deliver and we are at their mercy! Go to Lowes!

Purchased a Whirlpool Dishwasher 11/20/2019. Free delivery the day after Thanksgiving (a Friday). Unit was delivered, but when my husband installed it, it never turned on. Called Home Depot Saturday after delivery. We were told nothing could be done till Monday. Monday I call Home Depot, who then calls Whirlpool. I’m told that Whirlpool will call me within 48 hours to set up a replacement to be delivered. Thursday (3 days later) Whirlpool calls and says the earliest they can

My mother-in-law bought a standard refrigerator and it still wasn’t delivered for 2 weeks. When the delivery guys showed up their box truck was too large for the road and driveway and their lift gate was broke. Then a second attempt was made on 12/22 and the refrigerator was dented in two places and they tried to persuade her to take it for $50 off. She said no. Now the soonest they can deliver is Jan. 5. It’s taken a month to get this standard item and my mother-in-law is too nice. Home Depot should be giving her $100 just for her troubles. I would have told Home Depot no thanks and went to Lowes. Lesson learned. Get your appliances anywhere other than Home Depot.

We had to get some flooring for a bedroom and Jeremy M. in that department was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time with us discussing the best options and answering all of our questions. He was very very helpful and didn’t try to rush us through. Thank you Jeremy.
