You need to hire more friendly and personable people here. The people at the front desk act like they don't even want their jobs. It's not a very pleasurable or welcoming experience. My mailman is awesome, though!

Guy delivering mail is useless refuses to deliver any packages. I'd rate him zero stars if that was an option. I've picked up more packages at the post office then I've had delivered to me. Lazy always saying dog in yard this man should be fired and replaced with someone who will actually get off there #####

I thought my Priority Envelope was lost and contacted the 1-800 telephone number for the United States Postal Service. After speaking with the representative, she said she would report the problem. The same day I received a phone call from Vince at the Penco Road Post Office in Weirton, West Virginia. He was apologetic for the late arrival of my package and told me where the tracking information said the package was. After explaining to Vince that the package was very important and contained my vehicle registration and sticker for the license plate, he said he would look into it further. The following morning I received a lovely email from Vince apologizing again and letting me know that my package should be delivered today. As promised, it was. Vince even phoned me to follow up. His dedication was admirable, and I truly appreciate Vince and the Weirton Post Office on Penco Road's assistance. I see so many reviews telling horror stories about the USPS. This review is a highly positive one. <3

Our Weirton WV Post office used to be pretty reliable, however this past year we've frequently gotten other people's mail. Some packages my wife and I ordered made it to the Weirton post office and then somehow got sent back to the sender. No very pleased with their recent service.

Great experience at this post office today. I was mailing an item that involved me having numerous questions. JERRY was so helpful, polite, cheerful and never once made me feel like I needed to hurry or that my questions were annoying.Thank you Jerry. Keep up the good work!!!

In june 2020 I had a package go Mia, it showed out for delivery, than when I checked again it showed I put a hold on it and it would be held at the New Cumberland post office.I didn't put any hold on it and asked several times where is my package. I was told by the post master there I would get my package and promise to call me back. On three occasions I called and not one word where it went or anything. Its july, 2020 , had an item not delivered again but this time I dont know where it came up missing. It's time for anyone having issues with similar things make a report to the OIG and end whatever going on .All we want is to get what we ordered and what is ours. Its your postal responsibility to do that.

My issue isn’t with the actual hard working individuals casing and delivering mail. The issue is with the unbelievably rude, incompetent, and selfish individuals running the office the post master and supervisors. I would love to see them case and deliver a route! I believe corporate should really look into how this office is ran and how they treat the staff like dogs.

I never have an issue at the post office itself. However on 2 occasions in the last 5 weeks, I was notified by USPS that the package I ordered would be delivered that day. Only to find that both times the mail carrier didn’t check for packages in the back of her truck!

In my visits in the last six months I have found the workers at this office to be kind, helpful, and patient. The woman who is typically at the counter, on the far lefthand side, is exceptionally friendly. I have yet to see her in negative spirits. She displays the type of customer service you would want to see in any retail/service setting. The team members at this site seem to do their best to help out and go above and beyond, unlike other post offices I've encountered.

What a joke, the WORST post office I've ever had the DISPLEASURE of dealing with. They've lost 4 packages of mine now. PATHETIC!!!!! The post master should be ashamed of herself. You literally have ONE job, match the address to the mailbox, seriously disturbing that you are paying people to do a terrible job. SHAME ON YOU UPPER MANAGEMENT, You're doing HORRIBLE.

Very poor customer service. My grandma, who doesn't have a smart phone, came into the post office today to mail a warranty notice to Ollie's in the near by city. Unfortunately, her receipt from Ollie's did not include the store's address. Yes, I know that isn't the post office's responsibility. She asked the manager on site if they carried any phone books, as they have in the past. He claimed the post office no longer carries phone books. As the other postal worker reaches for her phone to google the address, which would take less than 30 seconds, the manager yells “No, we can't help customers look up addressesâ€. The conclusion was the letter was not mailed. The USPS will not receive money on this transaction, and everything will be done on the computer. It's sad to think that not even our government workers are there for the elderly. The manager would rather miss out on customers than help a customer and make USPS more money.

THE OFFICE MAY BE THE BEST BUT THE DRIVERS ARE THE LAZIEST, MOST HORRIBLE, HORRID EMPLOYEES. GOVERNMENT COMPLACENCY AT ITS BEST!!!! GOD FORBID YOU HAVE TO MOVE FROM THE SEAT OF THAT TRUCK TO GET OUT AND DELIVER A PACKAGE!! GOOD THING IT IS NOT MY MEDICATION, I WOULD DIE BEFORE THIS LAZY WOMAN DOES HER JOB!
