“As an avid railfan, photographer and dirt bike rider, nothing can beat the Elkhorn Inn for location, comfort, service and upscale dining in Southern West Virginia. i have visited here over 20 times since 2010. Each time I never cease to be amazed at the decor, artwork and the eclectic antique furnishings. However, the proprietors, Dan & Elisse really make the place with their warmth, welcoming personalities and plethora of fascinating life experiences for discussion. The custom "Chef Dan" gourmet dinners are fantastic and capture cuisines from around the world such as Vietnamese, African, Indian, Italian, etc. I look forward to my next trip back.”
“Staff is amazing. Very welcoming. As others have stated it is an older motel but very cozy and the beds are comfortable. Only stayed for one night but would stay here again. Room was clean.”
