201 Vocational School Road, Welch WV 24801
“At least ist's the only motel around Welch in active service, so you don't have no choice. The rates of 110.74 per night are honestly way too high, that's why I can't give five stars. The room itself was a beautiful timelapse back to the 40s, but not in a rotten way but very tasteful and truly vintage. Overall the premise was well maintained, rooms were meticulously clean and the ladies at the reception extremely friendly and welcoming. WiFi was superfast as well.”

“Very clean, great people who were very attentive, recently nicely renovated exterior and bathrooms, interior appliances and mattress would benefit from replacement.”

“As an avid railfan, photographer and dirt bike rider, nothing can beat the Elkhorn Inn for location, comfort, service and upscale dining in Southern West Virginia. i have visited here over 20 times since 2010. Each time I never cease to be amazed at the decor, artwork and the eclectic antique furnishings. However, the proprietors, Dan & Elisse really make the place with their warmth, welcoming personalities and plethora of fascinating life experiences for discussion. The custom "Chef Dan" gourmet dinners are fantastic and capture cuisines from around the world such as Vietnamese, African, Indian, Italian, etc. I look forward to my next trip back.”
