Comparable prices of a COMPETITOR jacking up food prices is borderline criminal activity. Price gouging.
Kroger's cares about families. Kroger's tries hard, at this time of review, to keep food reasonable to purchase.

Great selections and variety. I know it sounds generic, but there's just so much since the remodel so all I can say is wow! how far Kroger's has come it has got a nice facelift that I haven't had a chance to take it all in. Also wonderful employees

They have an adequate varaity of meats and cheeses for slice to. The associates that work in the department are always coordial and helpful. The prices are very competitive.

This Kroger is a creekside location. Families are regularly seen fishing from the shore. There are a couple picnic tables for dining, and inside is a small group of tables for a quick stop. Although thought of a mostly a Grocery Chain, they have many grab and go choices for a nice lunch: sushi, sandwich, rotisserie chicken, Starbucks, etc. I have actually walked to this store and bought wine and cheese for a creekside snack under the trees. The Deli counter features Boar's Head meat and cheese, with some other local favorites. Yesterday was unseasonably warm and I had a freshly sliced roast beef, pepper jack, pastrami on wheat with a Chai Latte and watched the geese swim in the creek, a couple kayaks float by.

Its null and void that 3 million dollars were spent remodeling the Mt Dechantal Krogers in Wheeling W.V. . It took 10 mins to get waited on at the deli and another 23 mins waiting at the pharmacy . Checkout added an additional 15 minutes with computerized problems preventing customers from paying . Spent over an hour in the store for 36 dollors worth of groceries. Go ahead and spend a few more million on remodeling , I wont return . Hire some people , scrap your self checkouts and offer some genuine customer service .
