About Kruger Street Toy and Train Museum

The Kruger Street Toy and Train Museum is a fantastic and awesome place full of historic toys from all ages to spark memories, imagination, and nostalgia. Housed in a repurposed historic school building with beautiful original details, the museum features three floors well organized and nicely broken down by room. The entire bottom floor is the world's largest Peanuts collection, over 15,000 pieces. Other floors feature model trains, Marx Toys including the huge Big Loo robot, Americana memorabilia, board games, slot cars, miniatures, dolls, puzzles like the largest commercially sold Disney puzzle, and antique pianos. It is a small place but has a diverse selection with several very impressive displays. Many exhibits are interactive, with plenty of hands-on exhibits and classic toys for kids of all ages to play with, clearly marked and in the center of rooms, engaging both children and adults. The people running it are very friendly, super knowledgeable, and really seem to care. The museum is clean, handicap accessible with an elevator, and affordable, often running Groupons. The attached gift shop is also affordable. Visitors should plan for one to two hours to see everything. It is a must-visit gem and an easy recommendation, especially for those into Peanuts, toys, or American history. The museum's caboose is also available for overnight or party rentals. Summer hours are seven days a week.
