I went in with my measurements and I was off by and 1 1/4”. They had told mePush it all the way in and pull it out 1 1/2”. When I got there he said 1” instead plus I miss measured the u-joint going into the slip yoke, which he caught as well. So I was off by 1 1/4” total. They r the experts, and this was my first time. He told me that I had to subtract 1 1/4” from my measurement of 39”. I have a pic on my phone from July 12th when I took it to them I showed him the pic of my measurements they r the experts and he said we needed to subtract 1 1/4” from the 39”, which ended up being 37 3/4” so that was the measurement he cut the driveshaft down to come to find out, he should have added it to the length m, and not sub So the driveshaft was toooooooooo short when I picked it up. I installed it because he said it was ok to run it that way. I honestly have not driven it yet, but everyone that has seen it says it will not work. I am going to try to run it this way and see what happens. I am putting plenty of straps above the driveshaft in case it comes out. I want it to work, I really do. Lol. I really hope it does not come out, prey for me, please. Lol
