133 North Water Street, AlgomaWhen we visited Algoma, WI in September 2026, we stopped at the Captains Quarters attached to Water Street Bakery for breakfast, and it was fantastic. The coffee was outstanding, and our server, Wendy, was phenomenal — attentive, friendly, and always keeping our cups full. The food was delicious, the price was great, and the whole experience felt welcoming. If you’re visiting Algoma, you’ve got to stop here for breakfast.

Smashed on the Rocks
70 Church Street, AlgomaSuper fun vibe! Loved the Bloody Marys and staff. Cozy nook areas with vintage hippy props and decor. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy some live bands! Menu is limited with just a few fried selections but we did enjoy the perch fry.
