We called to check on availability before heading out to work at 7 am. The Google listing said open 24 hours. Being that is a hotel we figured if the front desk was unmanned it would go to voice mail.A man answered and immediately berated my wife for calling at 7 am. When I heard the way this person was speaking, I said we are not staying at that place ever. He then proceeded to call my wife a worthless B^%#ch. If you don't operate at 7am then don't answer the phone. I feel sad for such a miserable human that would speak to others that way. Especially someone in the service industry.

Quirky and delightful, this hotel is bursting with character and charm! Every room is different, every space is beautiful. The gardens are amazing- I wish we had been able to stay longer. We’ll be back!

If you’re looking for a nice getaway with a river on your shoulder and beautiful breathtaking bluffs on the other, do not hesitate to stay here!! The owner is an absolute darling who's very friendly and kind. The entire town radiates friendliness despite how small they are, and there’s so much to do in town for history buffs, nature lovers, or just anyone looking for a beautiful stay out of the city.

Absolutely charming and comfortable! If I hadn’t been flying home I might have tried to bargain to buy some of the antique decor. My only regret was that I was there in Nov and it was too cold to enjoy the garden. The proprietor was also very welcoming, with lots of advice for what to do, and good stories. Note: the train runs right along the city of Alma, so if you’re a light sleeper, it might not be the place for you. But that’s the whole town, not the hotel in particular!

My wife and I were looking for a 1 night stay on our way home to Texas. We were looking for anything close to the Mississippi in Alma. We call the first hotel that popped up on Google for Alma. The Hotel was empty due to the tourist season being over so we had the pick of the rooms available. We pick the Lincoln room, very unique and comfortable and just across the street form the Mississippi river. The tv was an Amazon tv so need of cable if your an amazon subscriber. we had a queen bed that was the most comfortable bed of our trip. Our stay there was one of the highlights of our trip and plan on a longer stay here on our next trip.

Not very pleasant experience with the stay. We stayed at Eagle view suite. This is probably one the dirtiest place we stayed. Except main door none of the door is locking. Dust all over the place. Part of the couch chewed by dog probably. Couch was so old, dirty carpet at leaving room. Many lights are not working. Porch door not opening at all. Pretty scary experience. We stayed for one night and left next day morning.

Stayed here with my partner on May 6 - 8. The house was lovely and clean, the place has a great history. The location is very close to Buena Vista Park, Kwik Trip, Pier 4 Cafe & Smokehouse, the bakery, Danzinger Vineyards etc. Unfortunately the pizza place was still closed during our visit. The suites did not come with breakfast so we had our breakfast at Pier 4 Cafe, they close at 2pm. The people are very friendly. We had a wonderful time there and we will come back.

what a great place to relax, see their beautiful garden and browse through their used decorative items. We drink coffee and their scrumptious ice cream. We have toured the hotel rooms but never stayed. It is in the heart of Alma, WI with a lock and dam, scenic overlook, Mississippi River and a winery.

Unique and elegant decor in all the rooms. Spent 4 nights in the hotel. Dan (the owner was exceptionally accommodating). But the best part of the stay was the staff - the Greeks! Kudos to Dominic and Christos for the great food from Christos and the friendly demeanor of bartender Dominic. Would definitely revisit this gem!

Adorable coffee shop with excellent customer service. High quality delicious ice cream and high quality coffee. The iced coffee I ordered had coffee ice cubes, so that the drink wouldn’t become watered down as it melted. What a pleasant surprise! Now that’s good service. Stopping here definitely made my day :)

Just left Falcon Lodge. Always look forward every year to see what he has done. Have a great time there with family and friends. Dan has always been great there and helpful. Love his garden and all his rentals. Can't wait till next year. Count days down till our return.
