“Dr. Sarah and staff have taken great care of our pets for years.For a small practice, they are equipped with some pretty impressive diagnostics.They've always explained all options when it comes to more serious issues and expensive treatments.Dr. Sarah has worked to arrange treatment between Antigo and Madison to save us the time and money, knowing it would be less stress on our pet and us.While it is true, it make take longer to get appointments, we always get reminders well ahead of due vaccinations and exams, so there is never a lapse.This is a small practice and I truly believe each and every patient they have to turn away or refer to an emergency vet breaks their hearts.If it was all about money, they'd stay all hours instead of referring patients out.Dr. Sarah and staff have to have a work-life balance, so please be kind. If they are not allowed to go home and rest, they would not be capable of giving our pets the best care.Remember your family doctor generally has set hours and more than likely works for a healthcare system with emergency and walk in services for times when a provider is unavailable.That being said, it makes sense that the Antigo Veterinary Clinic would refer patients to the nearest emergency clinic.”
