I have to say I feel this hotel was slightly under rated. I just had a small vacation for valentines day week and my fiance and future brother in law chose this hotel because of the great rates and hot tub. When we got there not only the staff at the desk were incredibly friendly and helpful but the view of everything even the pool area was outstanding. The room was incredible with a great view of the pool and clean. The restaurant next to the hotel was incredible. Already have plans for summertime. I think this hotel needs to at least be a 4 star hotel. Not a 3 star.

I love this place, it's a little outdated but they it seemed they were doing some remodels. I stayed in the King suites with my 4 kids it was plenty of room. They have an awesome 8 ft saltwater pool in an atrium with real plants and trees, it was nice and warm in both the pool and the hot tub. It's also attached to a Pool hall with Bar and restaurant called The Mad Apple which was super convenient and tasty. Normally I would share pictures but I didn't get any because I was enjoying the moment too much. Their website pics are very accurate.

Black mold in the ceiling of bathroom. Left us four Kleenex. Put us next to a door (the doors are heavy and metal and slam into each other each time closed) super LOUD. People in and out. We had to be up for 530 am. The people next to our room were super loud. I called and all they offered was a room change at that point we were in pajamas and trying to “sleep.” We didn’t want to repack and unpack again. Guy on phone was nice and apologized about us not having shampoo or conditioner either. I asked for manager no available manager on. This place was gross and smelled like weed as soon as we walked into our hallway. Do not stay here it isn’t worth it. Sheets had stains and the people next door continued to be loud. I called again but it didn’t matter.

Rooms cleaning needs to be addressed. Dried spit or nose blown on bathroom sink area. Also on picture next to bed. Stuff on carpets round piece of jerky under table. Was not really worth the price. The restaurant food was ok.

Loved this hotel for many years hotel tub always worked. Stayed last weekend 1/12 1/13 . Recieved hassle about my wifes service animal and the room we were in shambles... no bedding no shower curtains no toilet paper. But decided to be the nice guy tell them that we could pu sheets on. No problem. Check in sucked through 3rd party but at that time the people behind desk were awesome on that part. The next morning was smoothly we asked manager if we could swim in pool after since it took to long at check in. She said yes. So we were delighted. So went to go back again this weekend we made reservation from 3rd party. And this time called ahead to let them know of service animal. And then was informed they put us on do not rent list and was said manager would issue cancelation in. Next day but found out they would not. And a was given 3 or four different reasons for the do not rent including something about another hotel manager saying something about our service animal...then eventually the final reason was our service animal peed in the room that he was never alone in and he has been housebroken since he was 3 months old. And apparently they could absolutely tell it was dog pee. But I think they just lied there was no pee
They just wanted to put us on do not rent list. Because another hotel manager talked to them.

Outstanding service! I booked my room at this location online using a third party website. There was an issue with the booking going through, so the manager helped me deal with their customer service and went above and beyond to resolve the frustrating situation, especially when it was midnight and all I wanted was to sleep! That manager is an absolute treasure. Highly recommend, and I highly recommend booking with them directly (DON'T use booking.com!!)

Room was very clean,Beds were comfortable,Front desk was very helpful… Only complaint i have is something they might not be able to fix or maybe they could.. I was woken up at 8am from kids yelling from pool area.Doors are paper thin.. Maybe need to invest in sound proof doors.Some people like to sleep in past 8am! Otherwise Hotel was great!

We have been going to the Appleton location for about 6 years on Christmas day. This year we could not even get in the hot tub because there was atleast 10-12 people in it that never left it all day into the evening. They sat around in it with a 30 pack of beer and never got out. No way we're we going in it after that which was about 8:00...we ordered pizzas and went back to our room. Very disappointed. When we got there our room was FREEZING! Took a couple hours to even get close to warm. Had to lay towels on the bathroom floor cause it was like ice when we went in there. Guess it's time to find a new xmas get away:(

Clean with a friendly staff, a tad outdated once you get past the lobby. Overall a great choice if a common area or large pool area is what you are seeking.
Noteworthy details: Great pool area, Lots of room to set up and hang out.

Old, tired motel, but, paradoxically, not very cheap.
Stay at a different one. Breakfast is set in a bar next door and it is a $6.50 voucher from the hotel. Not good.

I do not recommend this hotel. It has terrible service. Once I rented for a week and received insults from one of the employees and the manager does not know how to command.

To start, we usually like clarion hotels. However, this hotel is in disrepair. The pool area is huge but the bottom of the pool is cracking and coming up. This could easily be sharp. The hottub was not only cracking but had some black stains at the bottom. They also use bleach in it instead of chlorine. The water ruined both of our swimsuits. Our room had tile flooring which was nice but they were dirty. Our bathroom was in disrepair as well, the only plus was the shower pressure. The bed and pillows were awful to say the least. We were really disappointed in our stay. We usually have good luck with Clarion hotels but this one was needing some help. Also not a fan of all the passive aggressive notes everywhere using all the !!!!.
