I've hated banking at BMO for a thousand reasons, but they're one of the few banks that has the type of account I needed for work. But after they accepted an "instant transfer" of nearly $600 and then refusing to put it in my account, and also refusing to help me in any way even after acknowledging they have my money, I'm just done. Assuming this ever gets straightened out I'm immediately closing my account. They're more than happy to charge hundreds of dollars in overdraft fees, but take zero responsibility for the real effects their mistakes make for their clients.
