I deposited a check and was told verbally, and in writing that a portion of my check would be available to me next day. I was lied to, and all of my money is being withheld for over a week with zero explanation. Xmas ruined!!!

Dan Werner, excellent bank representative was very hospitable and went over and beyond to satisfy my needs when the system was at fault. Great staff and people but a rough system at BMO made it frustrating!

ATM never allows deposit even though they advertise deposit at the ATM.

My deposit was $5 over and they wanted me to take the entire deposit back to take the $5 out and then bring it back in. so I walked out the front door and right back in the front door and gave him the deposit minus the $5 and then I was able to deposit this makes absolutely no sense ..

From out of network ATM fees to poor customer service, this bank has it all for the individual who craves frustration. Can’t wait til my loan is paid off and I can move to a local credit union. I was with a small community bank 10 years ago, that bank got absorbed by M\u0026I, who got swallowed by Harris bank (things started going downhill at this point), then ultimately was bought by BMO who lacks any small town catering. They closed every bank they absorbed in Northeast WI outside of Green Bay and Appleton. My opinion is that the poor customer experiences will drive them to local credit unions and new local upstart banks again, until we repeat this all over again.

Privacy Not Respected! UNPROFESSIONAL BRANCH MANAGER! Multiple times I've gone in this branch (Appleton College Ave) because they No Longer have a drive thru. They kept emailing me surveys, so I did one and told them of my experience of tellers speaking too loud and also asking inappropriate personal questions. In my survey I told them I was not comfortable with this and felt my privacy was breached. THEN I get a call from the BRANCH MANAGER and he scolded me for writing the survey and he said he told his teller to continue to ask customers inappropriate personal questions. NOT COOL TO SCOLD A CUSTOMER FOR PROVIDING CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK ON THEIR EXPERIENCE. HE ACTED UNPROFESSIONALLY AND I WILL AVOID BMO BANKING BECAUSE OF IT.

Incompetent, Rude and Disrespectful. From the Branch Manager to the Head Teller to the Incompetent Newbie this is definitely the Worst Example of An organization That is ROTTEN TO THE CORE.BE CAREFUL ABOUT ENTRUSTING YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE AS NOT ONLY DO THEY NOT KNOW THERE JOBS...BUT THEY ARE RUDE AND WILL YELL AT YOU ACROSS THE BANK NO MATTER WHAT YOU WANT TO KEEP PRIVATE. COMPLETE AND UTTER BUFFOONERY.

More than once I have had to tell the managers how to do their job. Simple account service issues are met with complete confusion. Don't expect to get a call back. If you are looking for personal service and knowledgeable employees, then pick another bank. Sad state BMO has become, at least this branch since taking over M&I Bank.

Great at one thing; dropping correspondence, and not calling their customers back. Aimed mostly at the company as a whole, not so much the branch. I will never back with them again. Try calling customer service? Forget about it. They have an automated phone system from hell that never connects you to an actual person, fails to understand entries, and when it does says you've entered it incorrect.
