The ways that this company has lied to me is ridiculous. Don’t rent from here. Just don’t. They finally told me after weeks of run around I will not be getting my security deposit back. They’ve lied about the time and location that I returned the car to so that they can get away with it. I’ll be going to the bbb. Also, everyone there seems to be in a management position… wild. Liars. All of them.

Not great....long story with hassle after hassle; though one bright light was the nice lady at the counter at the O'Hare airport location. She made sure that my contract, car, and my selection all matched up. It all went sideways upon reaching the rental lot 2 floors up. This area was occupied by a very young man who could have cared less what I was there for, or any question that I had- he went right back to the office behind the wall and left me with an electric vehicle that I had no idea how to get it going, or where to find a charging station. All of this during rush hour in Chicago! What fun...
Maybe look into another place that actually cares....so disappointed!

Beware the hidden fees. The process of getting a moving van was done fast and efficiently. The problem I had was they didn’t tell me that if I dropped the truck off after hours to any location to the drop box I would be charged extra for that. I picked it up on a Friday and was to have it for two days I didn’t need it for the whole two days and dropped it off early but the budget I dropped it off to was already closed (wouldn’t have been open on a Sunday either had I kept it for the whole two days) and I was charged a fee to drop off the truck and keys to an after hours drop box.

I've rented from Budget many times and they have been efficient and courteous. I did have to put air in the tires this time though, as the car was displaying an alert. I should have gone back right away when I noticed but I was running late and decided to take care of it myself.

The Budget location I went to was great and I got good service BUT I prepaid for 10 days after hitting a deer and not having a car. My insurance company moved quickly and I was able to buy a car within a few days. So I returned the rental after 3 days and was not able to get refunded at all for the remaining 7. A complete rip off, there’s no reason why they needed to keep my money. $700 for a 3 day car rental? That’s insane.

Can't give a lower rating at all. Don't have a 26 foot truck had to rent two 16 footers instead. 2 weeks later was charged $279 for miles for 30 miles between two trucks. Battery light on one of the trucks came on limped back. At the time we rented they decided they were both going to lunch, why you wouldn't stagger lunches is beyond me.

After a shaky start ( not enough credit on card to hold rental), David worked with me, so I was able to rent a car for the weekend. When I dropped off the car, my personal vehicle wouldn't start. I had to leave it there for 3 days, before I could get that taken care. Nothing but the best customer service.
