Headaches after headaches. Gave us a broken vehicle with window rattling all the way from Wisconsin to Maine, convinced us to upgrade and the upgrades don’t even work. Frustrating

Disappointed in the way this franchise location operates. I rent weekly with Budget all across the US and this locations policy had to turn me away from renting. Management would not anccomad and authorize despite renting nearly at 100 times with budget . The same reason Budget wouldn’t let me rent Enterprise gave me no issues.
Most days I’d say Budget is great,but not this location. If your at ATW airport choose a different company other then Budget/Avis. I went with Enterprise ,and had a seamless rental process.

The car we rented was covered in scratches and dings! We were also charged an extra fee of $20 which we were not notified about until after we got home from our trip. No explanation as to what it was for.

To begin, I had to rent a car for a funeral that was sudden. The counter rep treated me like a poor criminal after I gave the wrong card and it didn’t authorize. Asking me if I was sure I had money to rent a vehicle… humiliating in front of the general public. The even was 12 hours away and I called the customer service line to see if a 30 mins extension to get back due to construction was possible. They informed me NO it would be another days charge. Long story short do NOT rent from this company. Go with one that values customer service…

You ripped me off. I brought the car back FULL and you charged me for a tank of gas. I called the Appleton Budget desk three hours after drop-off and you said, "yeah, that was a mistake." But you DID NOT REVERSE THE CHARGE. I don't do business with companies of low integrity. Shame on you.

I was impressed with the ease and speed in which I received my rental car at Appleton Airport. My car keys were in hand before my travel buddies arrived with my suitcase from the baggage carousel. The car I received was equipped with the latest technology and the Bluetooth capabilities were especially helpful when using Google maps to travel.

GMC ACADIA AWD - 1 week - returned 6/28/23 - did not reserve, just walk in - $1600 TOTAL ONE WEEK!! NUTS!! Avoid Budget because, yes, prices are very high. Or you can do a Jerry Seinfeld and say, "I am going to beat the hell out of that vehicle". ?

Rental went well. Picked up at Appleton, and returned at MKE. Only thing is that when I arrived no one was at desk. While all the other rental companies people were out front. They weren’t even in the office. I’m a fairly patient person, but someone else showed up, and still waited. The person came out of another area, and checked us in. Nice enough, but there wasn’t a will be back sign or anything letting us know they stepped away from the desk.

Rental was good until I returned the car and they charged me for refueling even though it was completely full. If I wasn't paying attention, I would have paid $15.99 more than I needed to wonder how many unexpecting people who don't pay attention and they get charged without knowing it.

I would advise people NOT to rent from this location at the Appleton, WI airport. They tell you there will be some additional fees, but they do not clearly explain it, or tell you how much. When my 3 day rental was concluded, I was charged over $200 in fees simply because I was doing business at an airport. Any and all fees that are associated with the airport (parking fees, convenience fees, etc) are passed directly to the customer - with little to no clarity.
