“We travel annually to Canada which is a 14 hour trip with stops. Ford Transit vans have worked for us previously but we had 8 people and lots of stuff. The new 12 passenger transit they provided was complete with adaptive cruise control, a large screen with Apple Car Play and and air system that allowed us to keep everyone at their preferred temperature. We ran into an issue with a flat tire in Canada due to a screw in the road. This was complicated with a spare that did not fit the van. We worked through all that including getting a company to come 30 mile to switch out the tires from the spare to the flat tire rim and we were on our way. On our return, the staff were great to work with and Avis stood behind their responsibility on this issue, Making us whole for our inconvenience and additional costs. It is rare to have a company stand behind its product. Avis and their staff truly stand out in our experience.”

“The people working at the rental counter in Appleton were some of the nicest that we have experienced in any airport. I also appreciate that we were given an email address and until 10am the next day to notify them of any dings or dents in the car. It was mid-night and snowing when we arrived so we did not have a full view of the car. There was (what we felt) a significant door ding on the drivers door but it was quick and easy to email a picture of it and get on with our vacation. I have had terrible experiences with rental agencies in the past trying to contact them via phone to get an email address and then forward them a picture of a dent.”
