We've been a part of COA for 6 years now, starting with my son until he started kindergarten and now with my daughter, currently enrolled. I'm very picky about who watches my kids (thank you, anxiety), and I have always felt comfortable with them at COA. I know they're safe, the staff shows them so much love, the building is always clean, and I get plenty of pictures/videos of them having fun every day.

Only 1 star review I've ever left. And honestly 1 is too high. Never hired a professional in any service industry that betrayed our trust so quickly.

We were enrolled for less than 2 weeks before deciding to unenroll. One of my children was left in the same diaper for 9 hours straight. My children had soiled diapers nearly every day at drop off. There was very little communication. The app is completely useless. No incident reports for injuries near eye or 102 degree fever. We were quoted one price and then we’re charged nearly $100 more per week. Do not recommend.

My son attends COA since 12 weeks and we are having a very positive experience. The teachers are very loving and caring (thank you Ms. Rachel, Trisha, Evelyn, Kim, Sandra, Mr. Patrick!). I can see how happy my baby is when he goes to the school and this is a very good sign!
We love that COA has an app with the daily reports on his feeding, napping, and activities, and that I can communicate with the teachers anytime. We also receive pictures of him daily through the app. The camera system is a plus to watch when we miss him during the day.
I would recommend COA !

My child was a first timer at daycare when he turned 2, and this place did a wonderful job of making him feel included! Communication is great and any questions I had were answered quickly and efficiently.

We have had the best experience at Children of America. The teachers we’ve had have all shown such kindness, compassion, and patience with our kids. It’s difficult sending your kids off to be cared for by someone else, but it’s comforting knowing they are loved and look forward to seeing their favorite teachers and playing with friends. A special thanks for Trisha, Ashly, Mackensie, Evelyn, and Rachel for loving our kids!

My son and daughter were never in daycare prior to COA, and im glad we chose this daycare! We love the teachers ( currently have mrs. Trisha, emily, evelyn, rachel, and mr. Patrick! the teachers send pictures throughout the week of what they are doing, and my son cries because he doesn't want to leave. Couldn't ask for a better place that my kids enjoy

Dropping our first child off on their first day of daycare was scary and sad, but Ms. Trish put us at ease. She shares stories of what our baby is into and likes and dislikes. She comes up with fun projects and activities for the babies to explore and grow with. Our kid is excited to see Ms. Trish every day, and based on that alone I give her and Children of America 5 stars.

We had the WORST experience with this daycare. I’ll give you a few examples why. For background, my son started at 8-months old and has severe food allergies (milk, soy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts).1) In the infant room, they only use 2 high chairs at a time. So when other kids were eating (which was most of the day as they fed 3 times and rotated 8 children), they would put my son in an exersauser. He would be in there for HOURS at a time, no exaggeration. One day, I totaled it and it was a total of 5 hours. He was only there for 8 hours that day. When I called to express my concern, I was told this was the only option because of his allergies... this is not healthy for any kid.2) Even with all the excersauser time, there was still an incident where he ate another kid’s cornbread (food allergies)... they failed to write an incident report for this.3) They advertise that they do sign language and take the kids outside daily. They did not do any of this when my son attended for 2 months. He didn’t go outside once.4) The classrooms were shutdown 4 different times because of covid exposure while he was there for a 2 month period. My son has been at a new daycare for 2 months now and has yet to have a shutdown.5) Because of covid, you have to hand your kid to one of the front desk ladies for them to bring them to the classrooms. You get almost no interaction from the teachers. I feel like this system is more of a covid risk to our kids as those front desk workers are exposed to the entire daycare instead of just a classroom.6) This was by far the most expensive daycare. $300/week for 5 days of care for kids under age 2. Our new daycare is $235/week for your comparison. If you have the option of choosing a different daycare, DO IT!

Children of America in Appleton is a wonderful place to work. Both the directors and staff are so very welcoming and are super supportive in everything we do. The atmosphere here is amazing — so full of positive energy. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else!

The caregivers here never stop bending over backwards to help the parents. The director is very professional. They really care about the safety of our children in this community. Thank you COA Appleton!
