I was in need super last minute!
Went with the smallest unit, and fit my 1 bed house in it great, with extra room to spare:)
This Company makes renting from them easily accessible with their online setup process. No emailing back in forth which was great.I had automatic payments set up, which made it even easier/mindless to pay rent.
Amy was very helpful and responsive in answering all my questions! And super helpful when I was ready to finish renting. 10/10 experience.
Will be renting from in the future if needed! And recommending to friends in need!

Working with Darboy Storage was so easy and they directly withdrawal, so theres no need to send checks etc. The storage units are nice sizes and are very clean. They are in a nice area and I didn't have to worry about anyone stealing my stuff.

Convenient and well maintained facility. I rented a 9X12 for the last four yrs. It was clean. No leaks. Easy to get into during the harsh winters. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

I rented a 9 x 12 storage unit for 9 months from Darboy Storage (VL Storage) on State Park Road. When I rented it was on relatively short notice and I talked to Amy who was very accommodating and helpful in answering my questions. Online rental start up, payment and closure was easy to do. The facility was secure, clean and well maintained throughout the winter. Due to the design of the storage units no water got into the unit even during heavy rain. The units are constructed to allow air flow avoiding stale air inside which is much appreciated. When ending my rental, again I talked to Amy who was very helpful in closing the lease. I was impressed with the service received throughout the entire process and the security provided for the units. I highly recommend them.

Convenient well maintained facility. We rented a 10X20 unit during a recent move. The floor was dry and clean. Access even with a larger trailer was very good. If the occasion arises we will not hesitate to rent there again. Bill M.

This summer (2023) I found myself in need of a storage unit on very short notice. There are many in the Fox Valley to choose from, much to my surprise! The owners a Darboy Storage (VL Storage) were the first to return my phone call. The process to rent from was pleasant, easy (on-line), and fast! My questions were always met with rapid and polite response. Monthly billing automatic, so no worry about being late on the rent. The property is immaculate, and lawn well taken care of. Security is great, with lots of lighting at night. Now there is a busy gas station across the street, so lots of traffic passing by. I never worried about the safety of my belongings. My need for the storage unit is finally ended, and the checkout process has been easy and pleasant. I will definitely rent from again when the time comes. Thank you for your well-kept property!

I recently rented a storage unit here, and I couldn't be happier with the service and the property. The management team was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process, making it a breeze to get set up. The property itself is well-maintained, secure, and clean. I feel confident that my belongings are in good hands here. Highly recommend this storage facility!

This is a really nice storage unit facility. They keep things very clean and are very easy to work with. They respond quickly when you are looking for a unit to rent. I was able to get my unit the same day. I would definitely recommend them if you need a space.

Entire experience was via email, there were no meetings or person-to-person contact, which was very convenient. No lights or receptacles in my storage unit, and each tenant has to buy their own matching lock, which they get to keep upon moving out. There are multiple ~2 1/2 inch holes drilled between each unit at the bottoms of the walls. I assume this is done for draft purposes, but it allows easy travel for mice and larger rodents. I stored my things in totes and on top of wooden pallets, so over the years the rising water and mice werent an issue for me. There is no gate, but the security cameras were reassuring while I had the unit. I left due to the constantly increasing storage rental cost, eventually it became too much.

We were in triage with an unexpected move and needed a storage unit for my mom's precious items. Based on description, location, availability, and reviews, we found the perfect place. We had no idea how amazing the staff would be. Now that it has been three plus years, we have experienced service beyond expectations. The area is consistently clean and plowed no matter what time of day we need to stop by the storage unit. It is overwhelming to take care of loved ones from a distance. They have made one more thing, one less thing to worry about. They are efficient, personable and professional. The price is very reasonable and you have direct access to the owners who have impeccable and meticulous communication and bookkeeping. If you are overwhelmed and too busy to mange one more thing, this is the place. Easy access and great security. I highly recommend this small family run business who knows the importance of family. We are grateful.
