After today, you will remember me Forever... you stole my dog, and gave it to people who don't own it, I am not going away because some Cops said so...lol... I would pray these butchers don't get your Dog...

Horrible place. Home again Microchip contacted us about one of our dog being dropped off. When we showed up to pick up and they had other people there to pick up the dog at the same time, cause a fight and gave the dogs to people who had no proof of ownership. They just give dogs away to whoever they want.

The adoption process was very easy and everyone we worked with was very pleasant! All information regarding the animal was given on adoption and was very helpful. We would 100% adopt from FVHA again.

We adopted our little Vi last May from FVHA. The process was quick and easy. I walked in knowing which dog I wanted to meet which made it even easier and walked out in less than an hour later with everything I needed and our new puppy. The adoption staff were friendly and supportive. On our way out it was nice to see the staff wanting to say goodbye to the adopted animals on their way to their new homes- proving that they truly care and are there for more than just a check. I recommend to everyone interested in adopting an animal to check out FVHA for your next furry friend!

I used to work here about 12 years ago. Me and my husband stopped in a few weeks ago to meet a dog they had there. The sign on his kennel said I am not ready to go home yet but I would love to meet you. We asked to see him and they said are you planning on taking him home today? I told them I would like my kids to meet him first and they said we can't take him out if you aren't sure you are taking him home today.First off how am I supposed to know if I am taking him home without meeting him first? Second I am trying to be a responsible person and make sure he does well with all of my family members first. I am really not a fan of shelters sending animals home the same day. Most people see a cute animal and want to take it home but people who take the time to think about it maybe realize that it wasn't the pet for them and make a thought out decision instead of a oh look at that cute dog let's take him home decision.

Hands down the best humane society I’ve ever been to. (EVERY other humane society makes it a MAJOR hassle to adopt; to me, it’s almost as if they don’t even want you to.) Not here though! Very easy process that allows you to bring home your new furry friend as soon as possible! <3Edit: Adopted little Cardamom! (renamed to Piper) She’s amazing and I’m so happy to have her in my home!

The humane society gave this wonderful cat back to the BREEDER after the cat was found cold and hungry. No concrete evidence of ownership. Very sad my family took the time to do what we thought was right. The cat will be sold again for profit. Disgusting.
