Tried buying a fridge - they ignore you and make you feel like a nuisance, then ignore you more, then I just told them I'm going to Lowe's, which they were perfectly fine with. Then bought something else for a gift and nobody knows how to print a gift receipt.

Wish I would have looked at these reviews. If I didn’t need my refrigerator like yesterday, I’d cancel it. I just saw it’s on sale for $211 less now and I don’t get delivered til tomorrow. You’d think they’d refund me since it’s basically not purchased yet. Nope. Was told I’d have to cancel delivery and reorder and wait again for a new delivery date. Really? Contacting BBB

So, I bought a new fridge at this store a couple weeks ago since my old one was toast. it was delivered and installed a few Saturdays later, and has been freezing everything i put in it since. I have the temp set at 45 degrees and have done all the troubleshooting. I've made several calls to the store pleading for help, and the best I have gotten in return is a text notice of a service appointment.. on January 21! I'm pretty disgusted with this entire situation and would just like the thing to be replaced at this point. I've had to toss hundreds of dollars worth of food, and I can't even keep eggs or produce on hand over the holidays. PLEASE, someone who works here.. there has got to be a way this can be dealt with before January 21?!

Do NOT buy carpet from Home Depot! First They lied about how far they were booking installs. Told me 2-3 weeks when I purchased. It ended up being almost 7. The day before the install, they told me some carpet arrived damaged and they wouldn't be able to complete one scheduled room. I was willing to work with them. On the day of the install, the workers showed up, stayed for 5 minutes, then told me they needed to go to the store. They left and never came back! 3 hours later, I call the store and they tell me they dropped the job because we had storage bins in one room and my son left his shoes in the closet. They never told me it was an issue or gave me an opportunity to fix it. After waiting 7 weeks, I got ZERO carpet and now they are trying to charge me a 20% restock fee for a refund! Buyer beware!

The Home Depot I am disgusted with the customer service and lack of honesty. Had Tong pick up a tool chest today (curbside pickup). She calls to tell me it’s assembled already. This is strange as the other four I’ve purchased from them have all been new in boxes. She gets to the shop and sends photos. Scratches, missing keys, unpacked mats. I text into customer service. Store manager says they pay someone to assemble items for customers. Wow since when? I’ve never had any of the other four assembled before for me. She assures me it’s brand new. So now they want me to dick around, go back and return it for a new one in box. When I should have received that initially. What happened to them paying to have it “assembled” for their customers? Why did I receive an assembled one that is damaged and why am I left I deal with their lies and mistake? Disgusted. I don’t do well with liars. Their store rating is at a 2.3. Wonder why?

Customer service at home depot has went extremely downhill. I will no support this business. I would recommend saving yourself the headache and going elsewhere. Their online customer service is even worse than the store if possible.

We bought flooring that was water resistant and scratch resistant and had it installed by a contractor that was not theirs and the material scratched with just a sliding of a laundry basket, a mop bucket, all normal wear and tear but because we didn't get it installed by one of their contractors, they wouldn't stand up to the product or the warranty.

Placed an order online. Order was wrong not once but twice. Was lied to about product in stock, and had to drive all over (100+ miles) to get the correct product that they made the mistake on in the first place. Empathy was not there, did not take accountability, and would definitely not recommend. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Lesson learned.

I wanted to buy a dishwasher the dishwasher I was looking at was $900 it was in stock ready to buy. I wanted it installed. They said in order to have it installed they would have to order it and in order to order it would cost me a additional $60 on top of the $160 to have it installed. so I went somewhere else
