I've never been a fan of geek squad. Even back when best buy was in the old store before they moved to where they are now... I would argue with them about computer tech and they would only get confused which proves best buy didn't hire the best. But since every kid plays video games, the geek squad is a little better now.Yet... They don't like to do anything that isn't by the book. 5 months ago I had to do a warranty repair on my MSI gaming laptop, not cheap, when it came back 2 weeks later it wouldn't even turn on. I was NOT HAPPY. They wanted to send it back. I'm like uhhh no, your going to fix this now. I had to get a manger to assist me because geek squad wouldn't budge. The manager did a warranty return on my msi laptop after I agreed to buy best buy total tech coverage, then I was given $900 store credit towards a new laptop. The geek squad guy just rolled his eyes at me...However after 2 months, that new $2600 ASUS ROG laptop, decided to have the pixels start dying on the screen.Once again... The geek squad wanted to send it in for warranty repair and would take THREE WEEKS. I let him do his thing. I knew he wouldn't do anything else.On my way out I requested to speak to the store or assistant manager. I told the manager, "hey just a few months ago you guys did a warranty repair on my laptop and broke it. You guys helped me replace the laptop but now that laptop, only 2 months old, is having to go get repaired. I don't really trust your geek squad after you broke my first laptop. Now I'm back in the same spot. What can you do to help me out? "The store manager was EXTREMELY helpful. He got one of the computer section managers, explained the situation, and guess what they did? Another warranty return and I could get any laptop of equal value or cheaper. I picked out a new MSI STEALTH gaming laptop. They did the return stuff, I got some store credit.The best buy staff is way more helpful than the geek squad. I've been saying that forever. I will NEVER trust a warranty repair since they broke my laptop claiming they fixed it.It also might have helped that I said I was getting tired of these lemon laptops your selling me, I might need to go to Amazon and try my luck there.THANK YOU FOR THE HELP STORE MANAGERS!TO THE GEEK SQUAD - THANKS FOR BREAKING MY EXPENSIVE LAPTOP.

Wasn't happy at all with my Geek squad experience. I doubled my money I planned to spend and ended up having to get my computer running myself since they couldn't.

I've trusted the Geek Squad many years, but when I took my Samsung phone and tablet in, they told me they only work on Apple products. When did that happen? I feel dumped.The actual Geek Squad did check out my phone for viruses, very kindly.

I set up an appointment to have them look at my daughter's Samsung phone. She inadvertently deleted all her photos.The person I talked to said they could do data recovery of deleted photos, and that they would see if there was anything to recover before charging me. I get to the location only to find out that they can't do any of that onsite, and that The Geek Squad isn't even Samsung service certified.Apparently the answering service has been doing this a lot. My advice... Go into the store and ask a Geek Squad employee before setting up an appointment. It would have saved me an hour of my day.

I will not bother this place again. I was a good customer at Best Buy for many years. I needed to get an appointment with Geek Squad and I was met with "We are not taking calls at this time" and then was given an 800 number. I had already called the 800 number and got no where with that! What terrible customer service!!!!!

Absolutely NON EXISTENT customer service. I called with a very simple question about a certian TV repair. At this point I still have no idea if they actually offer the repair I am looking because NO ONE ANSWERS! The first time I waited on the line for 17 minutes, without ever talking to a real person. I figured they were busy. I called back later and experienced the same thing. I only waited 10 minutes that time. I am currently waiting on the line for the third time as I writing this review...going on 7 minutes. Being busy is understandable, but I should at least get to speak to to a person and have them tell me that. Complete FAIL on their end. Call ended, customer lost.

Appleton, I have not been able to reach a Best Buy Representative by phone for a month. I stopped in Plover to ask about a delivery of ink that should have arrived Dec.10 from the Appleton Store. It had been shipped USPS and no updates since Dec.10 the day it should have arrived. Is it lost in the system? I have not had any communication what so ever nor can I reach anyone. This was a $300.00 purchase that I do not have. I have not had an issue with Best Buy before but don't understand why UPS or FedX weren't used or why no one answers a phone. Signed Frustrated customer.

I’m waiting for an appliance repairman to look at the washer I purchased from them. I was to receive a call regarding time yesterday. No call. I’m waiting now and no call yet to say they are on their way. I called Best Buy but no one will answer, I only hear a non responsive recording.I have purchased many items at Best Buy. No more.
