Editing to reflect I left the original bad review thinking this was the other Menards over in Grand Chute. I go to this one off of Kensington a couple times a week and have always gotten good service.

Buyer Beware – Terrible Appliance Return Policy!
Menards has an absolutely ridiculous return policy on appliances washers and dryers. You get one week to know if the product is functioning properly — or 30 days only if you haven’t opened the box. How exactly is someone supposed to know if an appliance works without opening the box and plugging it in?
What if you’re buying appliances for a new build or remodel and can’t install them within a week? Tough luck — you’re stuck with it. This policy is completely unrealistic and shows zero consideration for real-life buying situations.
I won’t be buying another appliance from Menards again, and I’d strongly caution anyone else from doing so. Save yourself the hassle and buy from a retailer that actually stands behind what they sell.

Charges 26% restocking fee on ladders, Home Depot doesn’t. Ordered a ladder, got wrong Type and tried to exchange but store manager refused to waive the 25% restocking fee. Home Depot allows 90 day return on the same special order ladder. Menards also charges tax on the restocking fee, so it’s really 26%. Manager didn’t care at all. Home Depot and Lowes show the return policy right on product web page. It was nearly impossible to find the Menards return policy. Home Depot and Lowes have a much more customer friendly policy and are more transparent. Goodbye Menards!
They replied “let us know what we can do better”. Isn’t it obvious and their job? What a horrible reply.

DO NOT BUY AN ARIENS 3400 POWER WASHER FROM MENARDS!!!! They will not take it back the next day if it does not work! You have to take it to a ARIENS service center to fix. Totally inconventient!!!! :( And the GM Neil sucks!!!!

I like Menards, you can find some great deals here. My issue this visit was with customer service, I had a cashier named Dawn, who was very rude to both me and her co-workers. She put her frustrations out in the open through throwing her arms and rolling her eyes mostly while using her walkie to talk to her co-workers over a price issue. Didn't seem very appropriate to do that with a customer. Could just be a bad day, hopefully that's the case and her day gets better.

Very overpriced for most things especially comparing to their competitors Menards is more expensive, staff on the floor are friendly but cashier's not so much pretty rude.
Update: Now they are also lazy liars, asked if they had certain products and instead of asking or trying to help me multiple employees told me it wasn't there, I was there for something else the other day and there it was the products I asked them about. Recommend going to any other Menards if your going

I sit in the middle with this store. Normally, my experiences aren't terrible, but they are never great. I prefer Menards over other stores in the area, it doesn't hold true in surrounding areas. If they worked on customer service a bit I don't think it would be so bad. I've just run into some many short employees.

I was getting some supplies, as I was checking out an item rang up as twice the price the sticker showed. I asked why this happened, well turns out it was marked in the wrong location. The item was actually the price it rang up as. But, they onered the lower price it was mistaken for, I paid the lower pice. So in conclusion, dubble check prices they may be marked wrong
