I seldom am the type of person to take the time to write a review but Brian, Griffin and the entire mortgage nerds team deserve the recognition. They were a joy to work with in every aspect and worked hard to find us the best deal. They especially excelled at clear communication and knowledge of nuances with our mortgage needs. I would definitely utilize their services again.

I met Brian through a military event in February 2025. When I was ready to start looking for a home, I created an account on the website and never heard back once all my documents were uploaded. I logged in a while later and had to create a new account. I reached out to Brian, and he replied stating he would call me the following Monday. I did not receive a call. My wife called him and left a voicemail a couple of days later and never received a return call either. Overall, as a first-time homebuyer trying to utilize the VA loan, I am extremely disappointed in the way my attempt was handled.

What can I say- securing a mortgage loan is not always easy and yet Mortgage Nerds were exceptional in taking care of our needs. Brian and his team really looked out for us and made sure we had the best rate from the start. They worked closely with our realtor to understand what our needs were and in this economy that was truly important to us. We have been blessed to have them in our corner throughout this process. We made the decision to work with Mortgage Nerds on our recent home purchase and were incredibly impressed with the experience that we had throughout the process. Given the overall situation, as a business owner and the new home purchase as a new build, we were expecting the process to be a bit more complicated to work through. Working with Pam and Paula on the Mortgage Nerds team, they helped simplify things from the very beginning, and entire process from accepted offer to closing went very smooth. The communication from both Pam and Paula, and truly feeling like they were there on your team along the way certainly separates them within the industry from other prior experiences we have had over the years. The home purchase experience working with Pam and Paula with the Mortgage Nerds certainly exceeded expectations and can confidently say that we would be looking to work alongside them again for any home purchases in the future.

The entire team at Mortgage Nerds has gone more then out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of and any details whether major, or minor have been worked out to the fullest to meet any requirements from the lenders to close on selling our previous home and transitioning into the closing of our new home. They are also always looking out for your best interests when finding you the best lender and rates that are out there to choose from. Brian and his team (Amber and Griffin) provided an incredible experience. I had a very unique situation using the VA loan in conjunction with retirement from the military and living separately from my family for about 10 months across the country. They were highly personable, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the entire process and helped to ensure the process was as seamless as possible. Through their hard work and determination, we were able to get the best terms, beating out the major military/veterans lenders. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a home, especially if utilizing the VA loan!

Jake did an awesome job with everything from our initial contact all the way through closing. We had never worked with a mortgage broker in the past so we weren’t sure exactly what to expect. What we got was someone really on our team who got to know and understand our financial needs and goals and helped us throughout the process of house hunting to run numbers on each house we weee really interested in. He handled so much of the filing and paperwork and best of all, got us a great rate. He contacted us regularly with updates even if that update was that everything is moving along and professing without a problem. I’ve already recommended him to several friends. Great experience.
