Recently my husband and I purchased several items from My Retreat Design in Appleton, Wi. Approximately two weeks letter, one of the glass items I bought had a slight hairline fracture. We decided to take our receipt with the items and exchange it. When I went back to the store I explained to the owner that I had an item that had a flaw and just wanted an exchange. Much to my surprise, the owner literally attacked me with her words, she raised her voice and accused me of dropping the item. I explained how appalled I was that she was being so accusatory and I was only looking for an exchange. Needless to say, she would not comply with my request. I left the store feeling overwhelmed and disgusted with how RUDE I was treated. Please beware - the owner is not what she appears.
