Very poor service rude staff strongly lacking in organization typical to have to make multiple stops to complete one transaction ... sad! What a sorry comparison to ShopKo!

Was forced to use self-check-out even though the line went to the back of the store. Poor service.

Sometimes I enjoy staying in and cooking for myself. I like to shop at this store when I do. I love the assortment of fresh butcher meats, seafoods, pastas and salads, produce, and breads that they offer. I can make a fantastic meal that will feed multiple people for what it would normally cost one or two people to dine out. I love eating out and experiencing wonderful restaurants, but I also love cooking it up for my self, family, and friends once and a while. Pick-n-Save is my go to spot when I want to do that.

Had a discussion with the pharmacist who agreed to acquire a renewal of a medication from my doctor, fill the prescription, and call me for a pick-up of the med. I hadn' t heard anything for a week, so I called. The technician said, "We can't get that medicine." I asked if they thought about giving me a call to tell me that. He said, "We should have done that but I don't know how that system works." SIX days later I rec'd a recorded message telling me that the medicine was not in stock. Total time from initial call to recorded message was 2 weeks!

DO NOT order groceries from their pick-up service! I personally witnessed a store employee pulling around milk carton-like containers and putting food into them (including raw fruits and vegetables from the produce section) who was NOT wearing a mask nor gloves! With bare hands, she was looking at the groceries selected and placing them into containers wearing neither mask nor any protective gear! Talk about potentially spreading the virus - why am I paying for a service that I cannot trust to take into consideration my families' safety? Furthermore, most people shopping were not wearing masks either, and were definitely not respecting the 6-foot rule for safely interacting in social settings. I was patiently waiting my turn to go down an aisle maintaining a safe distance, when another rude shopper pushed ahead of us and stood right in front of our basket selecting things off the shelf with bare hands and NO MASK. Sometime ago we moved to Appleton from an urban area because we liked the people so much -- the care that is generally shown toward each other like a community that respects and cares for all its members. I certainly witnessed none of that today in this store - whose own employees disrespect their customers and lack concern for safety! Last time we shop here until if and when things change for the better.

So...here I still am....almost a year after writing my first review. I just received a message that my prescription can't be filled yet bc the medication is out of stock. That's translated as...they never had it on the shelf! How do I know? This is a brand new medicine. And...in addition, bc the order had to be appealed through the insurance company to get payment, Pick and Save said they sent notice to my doctor for initiation of appeal. When I spoke with the woman in the doctor's office who handles appeals, she said they had heard nothing from P and S. Who would I believe? Certainly not P and S. This will be my last attempt to fill a script there. I believe pharmacies should be well-stocked and have only the most competent people employed. Thank heaven I was not in dire need of this med, although time is truly of the essence in any medical situation.

The bakery here is amazing! Delicious pumpkin pies, cakes, etc.! The baked goods draw us here because we can't get it that good anywhere else, and it is that little push that convinces us to choose this store of all places we could have gone for all of our grocery needs. The fruit is usually in excellent condition--reminds me of Whole Foods. They have fresh squeezed orange juice! They have the best milk--Lamers! All the good yogurts and more flavors than other places. The meats and fish are always great. They have cheap sushi that is still decent, great sandwiches in the fridge for not much money, and a nice food and salad bar, so it's a good place to go eat lunch. Really nice employees. And, it's cost efficient. What more could you ask? (The one request I have if you are listening is to improve the macaroni and cheese that comes with your chicken dinner. It should be a little thicker with less spice and more cheesy--more like classic macaroni and cheese.)
