Tried buying a fridge - they ignore you and make you feel like a nuisance, then ignore you more, then I just told them I'm going to Lowe's, which they were perfectly fine with. Then bought something else for a gift and nobody knows how to print a gift receipt.

Do NOT buy carpet from Home Depot! First They lied about how far they were booking installs. Told me 2-3 weeks when I purchased. It ended up being almost 7. The day before the install, they told me some carpet arrived damaged and they wouldn't be able to complete one scheduled room. I was willing to work with them. On the day of the install, the workers showed up, stayed for 5 minutes, then told me they needed to go to the store. They left and never came back! 3 hours later, I call the store and they tell me they dropped the job because we had storage bins in one room and my son left his shoes in the closet. They never told me it was an issue or gave me an opportunity to fix it. After waiting 7 weeks, I got ZERO carpet and now they are trying to charge me a 20% restock fee for a refund! Buyer beware!

Everybody at the store was very nice. Once we went to appliances to actually spend almost 3000.00dlls we were referred to Jonny a very mad young man. Not difficult to spot full of arm tattoos and a stringy greasy haircut. It seems nobody taught him manners or anything about customer service. Needless to say we didn't buy anything!

We've been coming to this location, even with it being farther than the West side location. We always get great assistance, they seem to have more quantity in stock, and help is readily available. Came in with some questions about stain and refinishing my floors, they had great information and help. They always have what I need and can assist me in getting the right things for the job.

I haven't been in Home Depot for several years. I just use other places. However, a few weeks ago I needed several items, electrical, some gutter replacements and other assorted stuff, and I stopped into this store to check them out. I was absolutely amazed by the level of customer service in every department I visited. They offered to cut some downspouts for me, offered terrific advice on finding the right electrical box blanks, and walked me right to where I needed to find other items. The checkout people were helpful and engaging, the selection is amazing, and I left very satisfied. Over the last few weeks, I've shopped there about five more times. Every visit was a delight. Five star service for sure.

Went to the Appleton East Home Depot on Tuesday at approx. 2:30 P, 08/08/2018 to get materials and answer some questions for an electrical project. I went to the electrical dept. and found no employees there. I hung out for a while then went to the service desk and asked for some assistance. The gentleman at the desk said he would contact someone. He made a call and informed me that the person for that dept. was in a meeting and not available. I left and went to another nearby home improvement store where I was able to talk with someone who answered all my questions and helped me pick the materials I needed. Even saved some money on things I thought needed but didn't.

Most specific to the paint department. Have to say the customer service and knowledge of everyone in the paint department in the east side Home Depot is exceptional! Just recently they helped do a perfect color and sheen match to another local stores mess up. I will from here on out always use this Home Depot for all my paint needs. When you do as much painting as I do, the paint place you purchase from needs to know what they are doing. Always helpful, going out of their way to satisfy and very friendly.

WORST customer service anyone could ever experience from one of the Managers Heather. First I Was told that I would be able to have the carpet installed within 72 hours after purchase. (2) wanted to upgrade my pad from 4# to #8 but I would have to purchase it from their web site. That was fine not a problem then I was informed that I would be charged extra for the installers to transport it to my house. That doesn't even make sense since they would have to transport the 4# pad if that's what I went with. (3) I finally settled on the 4# pad even though it was not what I wanted. ( 4) was being charged for 399 sf of pad when I only needed 278. That's due to the waste from the carpet. There wouldn't be an issue of waste from the pad but that's what they normally do. I could always bring the extra back to get a refund. WHY? Charge me for what I need instead of me making extra trips. The BEST part about all of this is they wanted me to schedule install on August 28th but if I wanted it earlier I would have to pay. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! What a waste of time!!!! I was told installed within 72 hours carpet was in stock. then when they received my money everything changed. If you want honesty and professional service you won't find it here! They had the option of fixing their deceiving sale by waiving whatever they wanted to charge for an earlier install but obviously customer service and improper training lost them a sale today and the future.

This store is pretty easy to navigate and parking is never an issue. They always seem to be in stock of anything I need and offer a wide variety of lumber, tools and plants. I just wished they would resume selling bigger smokers.

Probably one of the best customer service experiences that I've been a part of while shopping at Home Depot. On two occasions on a Sunday, the employees within the hardware & paint departments assisted me with a couple of challenging issues that I had. I trust the Home Depot brand, and this location proved to represent it well by going above & beyond in finding me the special tools & solvents that I required. The only viable alternative was to order online, yet time was of the essence in my case. The employees here seem to not only value working for Home Depot, but also strongly believe in providing exceptional service to the customers within the Fox Cities. Will certainly be back at this location in the future.

BUYER BEWARE AT HOME DEPOT!!!! I ordered 72 pieces of lawn edging from the Home Depot web site. They came on 2 skids with 36 pieces on each skid. I had 18 left over after the project was done, so I tried to return them and this was the answer that I got. Hello Mr. Hostettler, Thank you for contacting us. We truly appreciate your business. I contacted our e-mail team and spoke to Asia about the return process of your edging. Unfortunately, 18 of them cannot be returned since it was sold as 36. Unfortunately, this morning, the staff working Appliances were not very helpful. All 3 staff were engaged in a conversation. When I asked for help they acted a bit annoyed. Maybe next time.
