Update 7/10/24: I have not heard back from the manager as to if this was addressed and if he had any explanation. It would have been nice to offer a free haircut or some kind of future service for this experience.
Update: I received a phone call from the manager and she is trying to fix the situation. Hopefully the behavior changes.
I'm not sure who the owner of this establishment is, but I would like to have a conversation with them. I have been coming to the shop for years and only in the last year has the behavior been unacceptable. I was always able to stop in at random times and get a haircut and that has changed. I have stopped a few times at different hours and days and have been told by Rick that they have no availability even though the shop has been empty. I can understand that because I did not make an appointment. However, today I called and he answered and I asked if I could make an appointment for later in the afternoon/evening. He said he was fully booked today. To clarify I asked if any of the other staff had availability and he said no that everyone is booked. Because this has happened a few times I decided to go online and see if there was any availability online. Today there were six available spots at different times, And so I booked a spot and called him back and told him that I was confused that he told me that nobody had availability when there was six spots available online and that I selected one. He was obviously caught lying to me and I'm not sure why he would do that. I am very confused by this behavior. I have been unable to have a haircut for the past year and a half because of Rick and these weird behaviors. After thinking about it for some time I decided to cancel my appointment today because it is clear that they do not want me there. I've decided I don't want to give money to a business that continues to tell me they have no spots available but have empty seats when I walk in and have spots available online. I don't appreciate being lied to and I've done nothing to these individuals to deserve that. I really hope that Rick is not the owner of this establishment, because that is not how you run a business.

I have been a happy client at Supercuts for many years. I do not miss over-paying for salon services and I do love that if I wake up and decide I want my haircut NOW I can get in that day!
