I needed help because I mistakenly deleted my home page on my cell phone, and I am not necessarily smarter than a 5th grader when it comes to cell phone technology. Suzi at Appleton East fixed my problem; 'got it up and running again in no time. I would NOT have been able to do what she did for me, and I would still be frustrated, so THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Suzy!!

Fernando and Deon were personable and patient while my mom and I asked questions regarding switching from android to iPhone. It was a pleasure working with them and I hope they are given the credit they deserve.

My husband and I went into US Cellular to get a new phone. My old phone stopped working and of course it started working the minute we get into the store, which was funny because it wasn’t turning on/off for 3 days prior. Regardless of my old phone working again, we decided to trade in for a new phone. Cooper, one of the associates, helped us right away and was very personable, understanding and informative. We were dreading the whole process of switching phones but Cooper kept the conversation going and was really nice. We were originally going to get just the phone and go to Walmart for the accessories but Cooper showed us a great financing deal for all the accessories I needed anyways without breaking the bank right away. Keep up the great work Cooper and give your puppy extra pets for us(:

I should have written this sooner. I am writing to.Thank Susie! She deserves special recognition. My family walked in two minutes before close on Christmas Eve because we experienced a nightmare situation at Cricket Wireless, When they couldn’t deliver, she did with a smile, and did not make us feel bad for coming in two minutes before close on Christmas Eve. Not only did she make his dream come true she was efficient, kind, knowledgeable, pleasant to work with, and a real go-getter. Thank you Susie for making my son smile!

I went in to upgrade our phones, and had stopped at another U.S. Cellular store the day before that left me frustrated. My defenses were up and ready for an argument when I got here. But, Eric immediately put me at ease and listened to what I needed for the upgrades. He was very thorough with explaining the pricing, special offers and phone features. And, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. (We chatted about different mobile phones, old computers, and dial-up internet while he got everything set up.) I left there with my new phones and actually feeling happy! U.S. Cellular: Make sure you keep Eric around!

As soon as I switched from Verizon to here, I started getting graphic, pornographic spam texts. Came in to tell them about it. Was told it is what it is. No one cared. I was then told by another employee that his ten year old daughter gets the same thing, very casually. Disgusting and will be switching back to Verizon as soon as my phone is paid off.

In April I went into US Cellular to upgrade my iphone 8 and transfer it to my son for his birthday. The person that helped me that day was Lance. As he was telling me about what my new plan would entail, I said I would text my wife to see what she thought about some of the details (she wasn't able to come with that day). Lance seemed very impatient with this and almost seemed like he'd rather not deal with me. I probably should have just walked out at that point, but my son's birthday was around the corner, and we had been planning to come in for a week or two, so I stuck it out. As we were sitting down, we had not really talked about the price difference between the 12 and 13, so I asked him. When he said that the 12 was a bit cheaper and I didn't feel like I really needed the 13, I said I'd go with that one. Lance became visibly upset with this because he said he'd already opened the box for the 13, and he said he couldn't sell it anymore. I'm sympathetic to that. Maybe I should have asked right away about the 12. However, I never said I wanted a 13 specifically, he never really asked what it was I was looking for, (like I said, it seemed very impatient) and then he was literally slamming boxes around as he was setting me up for my new phone. No exaggeration here; it was super uncomfortable. To his credit, he did sort of apologize for that before we left, but I felt like I was made to feel responsible for his opening the box when I felt like we were still discussing it. Lance almost sent me out without the SIM card in the new phone but he caught that. He talked me into buying a $70 charger for my new iphone 12 because 1) a charger wasn't included in the purchase, and 2) he said the old chargers are a fire hazard with the new models. I don't work there, and all of you are the experts. Maybe this is right, but it seems hard to believe, and I'm not exactly overflowing with trust after the way I was treated there with him. If the old cords are truly a fire hazard, how could a new one NOT be included in the sale of a new phone? Something doesn't seem right about that. Anyway, the next day my son couldn't receive texts from me, and I couldn't receive them from him. I went back to the store a second time with him, and this time someone else helped me (Eric). He did say that the cell phone tower was having issues and that it was a widespread problem. He also looked at our phones and discovered that Lance had entered in some number wrong in the computer (I'm sorry I cannot remember what specific number that was). The number entered incorrectly meant that wouldn't have allowed my son to receive texts from me even if there wasn't a cell phone issue. I thanked Eric and hoped that a little more time would resolve the issue. We went back a third time in 4 days when we still couldn't text each other. I wish I would've got the person's name as he was the most helpful. I think he said he normally works in Oshkosh (he said a lot of people were coming into that store when the tower was having issues), his spot was closest to the windows, he was tall, and he had black hair. When I explained the problem to him, he noticed that my son's messages were showing up green on my phone even though we both had iphones. (I noticed that too but didn't think to say anything and didn't think it was relevant). He discovered that my son's phone (my old one) was not picking up on the time zone and looked like it was continually searching for one. I thought my old phone updated pretty regularly, but he discovered it needed an update and waited with us until it downloaded and we could text each other. Like I said, I wish I saw his card or would've thought to ask his name because he was very helpful. When my wife got her phone last year, we spent 2 to 2 1/2 hours at the store, and then after a few days we discovered that the employee at the time forgot to put a SIM card in it. Granted, we were told later he didn't work there anymo

Stay away from this store the manager and ditzy a** sierra. She has no clue what she's doing. I switched from Verizon because they had a deal going. I was going to be saving $20 a month. I am actually paying more with US Cellular now. Now I have to spend half a day looking for a new cellular provider because Sierra has zero integrity and her 19 year old manager backs her!! Get what they tell you your bill is going to be in writing so you can take it back to them and show them what they said. If you can't don't go through them. Zero Integrity and zero professionalism, just want to make a sale.
