I took in a WRX with a bunch of codes (namely p0016, p0011, p0507) after I installed a rebuilt engine (FA20). They were able to correct a timing issue and a few other associated smaller issues. Because I installed a combination of new performance mods with the rebuild I was able to get a tune after breaking the engine in as well.
Overall very satisfied with the final outcome, the car runs great now. This type of work is never cheap anywhere but I thought their pricing was reasonable. This shop can get pretty busy, but in my case patience paid off. They get busy for good reason, they are capable of a wide variety of services... would recommend if faced with a similar situation.

Recommended if you wanna turn a 4k job into 11k
Got tires and alignment- tires were good but they incorrectly installed my wheels. Alignment was halfassed and pulled to the right.
They agreed to fix the mistakes- held my car for more then 3 days and ran it between 4 different shops in town because for some reason this time- they couldn’t perform the alignment themselves. Interesting lmao
Bad communication and listening skills around the board- must be busy.

I was in the process of purchasing a used Subaru and needed a shop that was knowledgeable with imports to perform a pre-purchase inspection. When I called, Coty let me know what his true bandwidth in the shop but was and was able to get me in the same day but would be a tight schedule. After dropping off the vehicle later that day, Brittney greeted me and let me know that they had to take in a drop-in customer that had a critical issue as he was traveling which pushed thing back a bit further. When time was running tight for myself, Brittney came over and could tell that I was in a pinch for time and automatically offered a loaner vehicle which I totally was not expecting.
She told me to take care of everything I needed and they'd give me call when they finished things up. After getting the call back, I returned to the shop Coty came out in person and took the time to explain to me everything he saw from top to bottom and added some insight about some to the common problems seen on these vehicles. Without a doubt this man knows his Subaru's and is passionate about what he does. Being a skeptic in many ways, there are very few shops that give me a good feeling that they're looking out for their customers but VL is a perfect example that great automotive shops are still out there.

This place is phenomenal! Nick, Cody, Brittany, Tanner! All wonderful people! I took my car and my daughter’s car here for service. Nick was honest and upfront. He told me what needed to be done for both vehicles and gave me a “priority” list so I can get them done without breaking the bank. The people at VL Auto want to take care of your car to extend the longevity of your car and keep it on the road. They care about your car and you as a person. I will definitely return to VL for all my serving needs! Thank you so much!!

Will not return. I feel the high price and quality of job were not even. I had Headlights installed and they charged me $775.00 to have them put in. Also the original quote was $525.00.The lights were never adjusted so I had to do it right as I picked up the car because it was night and they were way off, they also said they would be adjusted. Also I went to pick up the car and they never left the keys under the seat like they were supposed to and they left them in the shop after they closed. So I had to call the shop and messaged them on Facebook to get my keys because they are closed all weekend. They did however respond quick thank God and someone came within 10 min to get the keys for me. Also the picture below is a bolt they snaped on my front fender bracket witch they broke because you have to remove it to remove the headlights. I was never told about the bolt and the only reason I saw it was because I had to adjust my lights right away and when I lifted the hood and it flopped out. All in all not a reputable place I didn't even get a invoice, also to top it all off at the end they charge you even more for using a card.

I own a direct injected vehicle and drove almost 600 miles one way to have VL Walnut blast the valves and other service done to my vehicle. Can't say enough about the professional, courteous treatment received. They do a thorough inspection and flagged an issue that needed to be addressed. Straight up worth your time and money!!!!! Will do it again.

Nick and his team are extremely helpful and friendly. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and gave me a clear estimate of what needed to be addressed after a thorough inspection. He explained each point and answered my questions so I had a complete understanding of the health of my vehicle.
Also after mentioning I was thinking about an ECU tune, he gave me an estimate and was confident they could do it.
This is THE place for performance and modified vehicles to get quality work done.

If I could leave no stars, I would. They have overcharged me for work. They had my car for over a year. Dropped it off for a misfire issue, and $16000 later, it's still not done. They stole the skidplate off the bottom of my car and never even bolted the battery back down. To make matters worse is the fact that the misfires are still there. Now I try to get ahold of anyone in the shop to get them to accept that they messed up and to get it fixed only to be ghosted with no returned calls or text. The 5 star ratings have got to be friends of theirs... if you want overpriced service for no guarantee, these guys are the ones
