If you want quality fish this is the place we have been traveling to this store since it’s been open very knowledgeable and friendly staff we have been getting African cichlids from them never had a problem they answered my questions about anything 10/10 would highly suggest going to this place they have more than just African cichlids they have feeders and some saltwater

I can't believe it's taking me this long to leave a review. Wild habitats in my opinion is the number one go-to stop for any fish keepers in Oshkosh, the Fox valley, and Green Bay. They always have a great selection of uncommon exciting fish as well as the classics. Yvonne is friendly and helpful and always ensures they have a beautiful selection of both plants and hardscape. If I need help with fish in any way Brady is my guy to go to. He's been doing this stuff a long time and he knows what he's talking about, and if he doesn't know something he'll figure it out for you instead of just giving you whatever answer sounds good. If you need a trustworthy and helpful source of fish, supplies,and information this is the place for you.

I came to Wild Habitats as a first time snake owner and for 6 months it’s the only place I will go. The staff are eager to help and answer questions, they’ve been the best resource for me!

The first time I came into the shop was with family. I have been thinking about starting a little fish tank for my young kids. I had asked what fish would be good for beginners and young kids. Staff was friendly, knowledgable, and happy to answer questions.
I went back when we were ready to stock our tank. One of the staff members walked me through exactly which fish will get along and be happy in our size tank, as well as what food we needed for them. You can tell the staff are passionate and really care about what they do. Our first tank is stocked and my kids are thrilled. Thank you for all of your help! We will be back!

Dillon set us up with everything we needed to home our wonderful snakes and children's fish. He shared a wealth of knowledge and was very generous with his time, without talking down to us. It was a very comfortable and educational experience. We learned a lot and will make this our family's go to place for all of our pet needs. Thanks Dillon!!!

Been coming here for almost a year now for feeder Rats for my kid pet And they never let me down, we can walk in and say it's time to feed pretzel and they know exactly what we're talking about and exactly what size we need or if I need something for my fish tanks but I don't know exactly what it is called. I can describe it and they'll know exactly what I need

Wild Habitates is hands-down one of the best local pet stores I’ve ever been to! Whether you're into reptiles, fish, or just love discovering new animals, this place is a treasure. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and always willing to help—whether you're just getting started, expanding your current set up, or a seasoned hobbyist.
What I really appreciate is their genuine care for every animal. The majority of their animals are healthy and thriving, and they also take in surrenders—giving animals a second chance at a better life. It's clear they put in the extra time, effort, and love to make sure every creature is properly cared for, no matter where it came from.
The store is clean, well-organized, and stocked with high-quality supplies, tanks, food, and accessories. You can tell this is a place run by true animal lovers who care just as much about their customers as they do their critters.
So grateful to have Wild Habitates in the community. Highly recommend checking them out—you won't be disappointed!
