I purchased 4 counter height stools through a certified retail store. They are beautiful. I contacted the retailer and mentioned there was no "finish" on the bottom of the legs. I was told to go to a hardware store and ask for advice on what to buy so the stool would slide on a wood floor. Once I got the stools home, they are about 1.5" too short. I called Ashley Customer Service to see if there was a kit to buy to raise the stool legs. I basically got told since I did not buy the stools directly from Ashley, they could not help me. Not good Customer service to customers who purchased their product via a certified source. Bolanburg stools, white legs, tweed cushsion.

I would’ve given zero stars but there was selection choice. Bought a reclining sofa. Salesman lied. It is NOT a wall hugger. Has to be placed 12 inches out from the wall!!! Now after several calls to the store have gotten the runaround saying one manager not in for the day. Then 2 are at lunch and the other one with a customer! And no living person at Corporate. Just transfers to a virtual.

Buyer Beware! Senior Citizens, especially, please note this: Buyer Beware Warning! From the seemingly poor ethics of my salesperson to the sad corporate process for customer service and follow-up, Ashley Furniture Stores is one of the worst businesses I have ever encountered when purchasing from or getting product delivery and service. It is most likely that their poor store/corporate policies to hold on to your money no matter what is the main issue. Regarding the furniture quality, while it looks lovely, I suspect it is likely not well made for more than a few years of use, as it is also very light in weight. A friend purchased an Ashley "leather sofa," which fell apart via "the leather" after two years.Forget getting real help once you accept the item upon delivery: they have what comes across as a no-return policy, even if there is damage to the item once you sign for it. I had to call numerous times to get some items eventually addressed by management. My salesperson even added insurance protection to the furniture after I verbally declined it. Since I did not notice he had added it to my bill, on purpose or accidentally, for about $500 when I signed on a hard-to-read electronic notepad, I have not been able to get them to remove the charges since I last checked. When the sofa had a dangerous piece of thick wire sticking out of the back of the sofa material, instead of exchanging the sofa bed with another in less than 30 days, they insisted on replacing the whole sofa bed's internal mechanism even though I told them that was not the issue—had to wait for that part because they would not take the sofa back as I was not in town when it was delivered and did not see the problem right away. To make matters worse, they sent me two large metal inner bed mechanisms instead of one by accident...and told me that these big heavy boxes were my problem to bring into the house and store. I told them I was a senior citizen and that this would be hard for me.I could type all day and tell you how many times they promised to do something and did not. To their credit: Most of the customer service staff was nice enough, but that was about it! Most of their answers to unsatisfied or purchase issues are shrouded in nonsense or no-logical corporate procedures. I also have a bed frame with no holes to put the screws in so the slates can support the mattress. By the way, there was no exchange of fix for that either, as it was a floor model with a defect that I would not see even if I looked. Seriously, I have more to share, but I will stop there. Judging from the other reviews that I now see, regarding this furniture store, I am not the only unhappy customer. Just avoid getting caught. It is a sticky web they spin. You will just be stuck with only one way out: the spider!

Sadly, I purchased a $2,000 couch that was great on the showroom but once delivered it was not what I expected. It is so hard it feels like I am sitting on cement. Even though the corporate policy is a 30 day return if you are not satified, they refused to return it even though I was willing to purchase a different couch at a higher cost. They claim their individual store policy is "All Sales Final". Beware to you all. Each location can have such a policy and the sales folks don't tell you that. Very disappointed. Will never shop there again.

Hello - BEWARE of this company. We purchased a TV stand for almost a grand and had it delivered. The guys showed up and one of the 4 doors on the piece was difficult to close - had to lift the door a bit to close it. The second from the left door would close, but kept popping open. I can close it - then about 20 seconds later, it pops open. The delivery guys were hoping I wouldn't notice - they closed it and then held it while I checked out the rest of the piece, then let go. I sort of okayed it, but right before I signed for it - it popped open. Won't stay closed - the hinge is too tight. I told them I didn't want the piece. The delivery guy called someone (woman) on the phone and she asked if I wanted a tech to come out or if I wanted to exchange it. I said an exchange would be great (makes sense since I wanted a new one). I did NOT sign for the piece. They left the piece there and said they would bring a new one.WELL . . . guess what? They didn't give me a delivery time or date, so I called. They said the ticket wasn't closed out yet (driver wasn't back) so they would do it on Monday. Well, I called on Monday and there was no ticket open and per the lady on the phone, no note that there was a problem - how they closed it out when I didn't sign for it is VERY interesting. Fraud??? She read through the notes (took forever) and then said "Oh, yes. Looks like the driver noted the door won't stay closed. I can send an order up for the techs to come fix it.". I explained I told them I didn't want a tech but wanted a new TV stand. The problem was that the hinge was too tight - moving the hinge would weaken the frame/hinge area. I would always have a problem with the door. This is a new piece and I expect it to be a new piece - not a repaired piece.I was to call back on Tuesday after 10. I called back on Tuesday after 10 and she indicated an exchange was denied and that I was getting a tech to fix a brand new piece of furniture I paid almost a thousand dollars for. The tech wasn't able to come until March 28 - a frickin month later! This company is a scam! BEWARE - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I BOUGHT A PIECE OF CRAP FURNITURE THAT IS NOT NEW BUT BROKEN FROM THE TIME IT WAS DELIVERED. They scammed me telling me I would get an exchange - they are liars and manipulators. Do NOT trust them - they lie! I'm calling for a lawyer. I would rather spend money on a lawyer then let them get away with this!

have bought furniture here before and paid it off early, with no issues. will never buy from them again tho. recently, bought a mattress,(purple) did the 60 day sleep guarantee. didn't like it. went back to store, was told could go to mathis bros or mathis bros sleep center to pick out another. did that, took all day. found one. when we called mattress services to give them new one info, was told have to get new one at ashley. called ashley, they said that is correct. i explained that the mgr on duty that previous weekend told us we could get it at mathis. she said she'd have to get approval thru her boss. called the next day and her boss approved it. then had to call payment center, they wouldn't take cc over the phone (for restock fee and difference in price) because we didn't have enough payment over the phone history. i explained we bought furniture there before and paid it off early, so what else do they need??? had to get approval, she called back and said i was approved. new mattress delivered today but had a hole in it!!!! new one not available until friday. it's one thing after another, the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, being told different information depending on who you talk to. will NEVER EVER buy anything with them again!

This place is a joke! Largest furniture manufacture? More like cheapest cardboard shill. Purchased a full Quinden bedroom set. Within a month the nightstand gave out. On further inspection it is because the thing is quite literally made from PAPER. It's not even pressed board. Talk about planned obsolescence. When I tried to get a replacement or refund I received the runaround until finally I was told there are no more in stock and the warranty had expired. DO NOT purchase anything from this company!

I wish there were 0 stars bcuz that's what they deserve @@#%^&!! Since august 2023 to February 2024, Ashley refused to replace the broken recliner. 2 techs came and ordered cushions but both were wrong. I had to ask the 3rd tech to sit, pull up recliner before he realized what I meant bcuz it was broken. Finally if I hadn't he'd him sit I'd still be getting liars like their store managers who told me they'd help since August last year. They owe me money paid on the broken I've been asking to get replacement since AUGUST 2023. WHO WANTS TO PAY MONTHLY FOR A BROKEN CHAIR?? THEY OWE ME BIG TIME!@#$%&

They are completely useless and do not care about customer service or satisfaction. Avoid buying from Ashley’s at all cost! Go with living spaces or Amazon or anyone besides Ashley’s! They only care about getting your money and then don’t give a care about their logistics or how they inconvenience you at all.

Horrible horrible delivery mess… not organized, promise things and do not follow through, the people at the store and the store itself is fine (Pottstown, PA) but who they use for delivery … would never again purchase from Ashley for this reason. They have no clue what they are doing. The delivery people did not speak English so questions/answers weren’t an option. It is 1 month after I purchased and still do not have all my items. Literally just over all horrendous experience.

If I could give a zero, I honestly would. I ordered a dresser and received a phone call that the dresser was ready to be delivered. I had my delivery date scheduled for March 5th. I ended up getting a phone call that day after waiting all day for the delivery to be told that they could no longer deliver my dresser because the drivers forgot some of the hardware back where the truck was loaded. I was then rescheduled for Friday March 8th. I never received the text message the day before so I called this morning to ask for an update on my order. When I called, they said that my order was back ordered and the new potential in stock date was March 19th and from there I’d still have to wait to see when my order would be delivered. I was told on Tuesday that the hardware was “forgotten”, so when I asked the rep today how can they no longer have it if I was told the hardware was forgotten on Tuesday, all she could tell me was that whoever I spoke to lied to me. This is absolutely horrible customer experience and even when I asked for a supervisor to see what can be done, I was told there was nothing they could do and oh well. I cancelled my order and am cancelling the card I got with them. They’re quick to get you a sale, but absolutely horrible with the help afterwards. 100000% do not recommend.
