Benoit Cheese Haus is an old-fashioned specialty cheese shop and an Up-North destination. It carries many of Wisconsin’s finest cheeses, from fresh squeaky curds to 20-year-old cheddar. The shop offers a great selection, including locally produced maple syrup, honey, a variety of wines and beers, ice cream, old-world meats, soap, jams, relishes, fresh sandwiches, frozen pizzas, and much more. It is a cheese lover's dream come true. The staff is very knowledgeable, super friendly, kind, and courteous. They provide great service and offer amazing fresh samples of a variety of different cheeses. With its awesome flavors and an experience that does not disappoint, it is a fun place to stop for great cheese and all the other bits and things.
The owner Jill is a sweetheart, and loves to chat. They will give you a sample of any flavor of cheese you want. I love their maple chedder and breaded cheese curds. They also carry ice cream sandwiches made with homemade cookies.
