“This was my first visit to this establishment as is the case after moving to the area in 2016. The purpose of my visit was to dispose of recycling materials. The yard help was truly helpful, the one called "the old man", directed me to the proper areas of the yard for depositing the materials as well as direction to the scale and back to the yard. He also got into the back of the pickup and helped unload the 1 1/2 ton of various steel. All and all it was a pleasant experience for a Friday afternoon not long before closing time. I'm not sure one gets the best price for the recyclables, but it was worth disposing of the metal. There isn't much competition for scrap in the north country, however I'd return to Chicago Iron again.”
