Chequamegon Food Co-Op is a great place and a favorite stop for many, highly recommended. It is a one-stop shop with an awesome selection of all organic products, including an amazing selection of produce and fruit, local organic veggies, and lots of grassfed or pastured meat. The store offers a great variety for its size, with an abundance of treats, a good bulk section, and tons of gift options. It has great vegan options and vegan baked goods. The hot bar is highly recommended, and it is a quality little place to sit and dine with family. All of the employees are super nice, ready to help, and the atmosphere is loved. While some note co-ops can be a bit expensive, buying bulk can make it manageable. It is viewed as a best ally for clean eating against an unhealthy and environmentally destructive food industry.

Every Co-op I go to I love, and this one is no different! Love getting my fruit and veggies here! Yes it expensive..but it feels better supporting small and local rather than big and corporate..when you become a member it's actually much cheaper than being a non member.
