“We were a group of 4 ladies (3 in their 80’s and myself 71 years old). We could not have asked for a better place to stay for the money and all the space we had. It has 22 steps up to the Rob Roy Suite but so worth it. Even more worth it was the bountiful breakfast that Becky prepared for us each morning as her guests. DELICIOUS doesn’t even describe how great and tasty it was. Becky was wonderful to work with from start to finish. If we ever go back to the McGregor area you can bet we will stay at her place!”

“This place was a gem. Clean room, great service, locally owned, lots of places to eat close by. Be aware, BNSF tracks are about a quarter mile away so the trains are LOUD. We turned the fan on our AC unit and that silenced the trains. This area is our little getaway, will be returning in the future.”

“Great hotel that is located close to the Mississippi River and the downtown Prairie du Chien. Rooms are spacious, clean and stocked with coffee for the morning. The restaurant attached to the hotel is awesome and the band Saturday night was an added bonus.”
“The ribs are to die for and stating at the hotel is an experience that everyone should try. We've stayed here at least 1/2 dozen times and we'll continue to come back for the great hospitality and food.”
