“Our daughter was married at the Dousman House this weekend, it’s a stunning historical venue on the river. It’s centrally located for hotel, dining, and entertainment. The venue is stunning and a beautiful location for photos inside and out. We had the ceremony outdoors on the patio and reception inside taking advantage of the entire property. The bridal prepping suite is gorgeous and spacious. I can’t say enough good things about the event coordinator, Hannah, she is an absolute pleasure to work with and is very responsive. The entire staff, servers, bartenders, and kitchen crew were fantastic and very pleasant. The meal was delicious and nicely presented. The venue ensured we had nothing to stress over and the event went off perfectly thanks to their professionalism and attentiveness.”

“The hotel is in an ideal location for quickly getting to the PDC downtown shops, restaurants, and bars. We chose to have our 50th High School reunion at the Backwater Bar & Grill on the second floor, and things went very smoothly. The restaurant manager, Heather, was very responsive and made sure the table setup was ready including 'reserved' signs. We were able to plug in our own audio system for the presentation, which was very effective since it was a group of about 90. The meal - with beef/chicken entrees and a few sides - was excellent, very tasty! All in all, a great experience, thanks for helping make our reunion a success!”
