A few months ago I bought a car and the experience was excellent, I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful salesman, he was always willing to answer my questions, he explained everything I needed to know and helped me find the one that best suited my needs. The process was quick and simple, thanks to this I got the car in a few hours.Overall I am very satisfied, I recommend this place 100%.

The level of customer care we were provided at Baraboo Motors is rare. Mark and his team went above and beyond to ensure the used vehicle we purchased was up to their standards. Home of the $600 oil change. Responsible car owners beware!July 10 I took my car in for what was a routine $70 oil change. To my surprise I left with a $600 bill while being threatened with a $1200 billThey took my car back, I waited over 45 minutes for my oil change, which seemed odd given the fact they had a quick lube. After almost an hour, Kim I came over to her and was informed my oil housing was broken. I am assuming this is a common scam their dealership runs and gets away with, with people with older cars, because she looked shocked when I told her a reputable mechanic had replaced it just a few months back. I immediately pointed out this means they had broken it, this is when things went from bad to worse. She told me that they wanted $1200 and that my car was un drivable and they wouldn't give it back to me or allow me to tow it away. (This is a fully paid off car that jeep or any mechanic has zero rights to).They wouldn't even speak to me. For reference I am 23 and my parents had to communicate with them when I am the owner of the vehicle title and all. They left me in the waiting room for over an hour trying to warranty my own part when the mechanic and orileys offered multiple times to speak with them to confirm the part had been replace and they refused. They held me hostage and wouldn't even hand over their loaner until I could come up with more information on the replacement from the other mechanic, when I finally confronted them this is when Kim began screaming at me. When I finally did get the loaner, they took 2 people to escort me to my car to retrieve my belongings and they were fighting me over giving my keys back to retrieve my house key.They kept my car hostage for the entire next day with no communication and wouldn't even give me the price it would be when I was picking it up until 10 minutes before I was there. I have never not had an auto mechanic not say please sign here to agree to the price.During this time of no communication we called Kurt, the service manager multiple times with no response to the issue. In the end he still never even picked up his phone.When I went to pick up the car they tried to inform me that the wrong oil housing was there and that's why it snapped, let me point out that if the wrong part was there, orileys wouldnt have warrantied the part, as you would have used it improperly, and multiple other mechanics have changed the oil and not broke the "wrong part". Kim she spent another 5 minutes arguing with me that she had returned my keys when they were still in their back room, basically still refusing to return my property when the ridiculous payment had been made.I want to make clear since someone sits around and comments on every review, "just call me" when they respond to me is not them fixing the issue. Kurt, the service manager, never picked up the phone to address the issue. So we escalated it to Todd the service director. Who spent time blaming us for the wrong part, again we aren't incompetent on how warranties work, and if it was the wrong part maybe your mechanic should say something before he starts breaking it. It is pretty sad if someone who changes oil day in and day out cant recognize that, and I have a written statement from your mechanic admitting he broke the part which you are ignoring.But more concerning we never once recieved an apology for the way we were treated by Kimberly. Their service director stands by the destruction of vehicles and the mistreatment of 23 year old women via theft of property, screaming at customers, and threatening them. So, I gave you your chance to call me and fix this Baraboo Motors, now I just want to protect others and send the BBB after you, and any other entity I can. Because after this circumstance, I recieved reports from 3 other people I know also women mainly elderly or younger that have experienced this same treatment, you are theives and should be stopped.

I just want to thank Kim and the whole staff in the Service Department. I broke down the day I got to the Dells. It was my birthday! MAJOR issue with my Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8! I was literally stranded! She went out of her way to get my truck fixed ASAP, and even provided me with a loaner vehicle, so that I could enjoy my birthday! I really thank you Kim and the mechanic who fixed my truck and got me back home safe! I owe you guys!!

Charlie was so great to work with! Everyone at Baraboo Motors is so helpful and friendly. We never felt any pressure to buy, but had all of our questions answered. Very clean and well kept place. Kristin, in finance, was great! We love our new (to us) truck! Thank you Baraboo Motors!

I walked in with not much hopes in finding a “new to me” vehicle along with financial decisions. I am more than happy to report that BMG, Bart and Kristen were the best! My name is Maria Peña and I bought a 2017 Buick Encore three months ago with 49,000 thousand miles and I’m already having engine problems. It seems like the info was erased when It was sold to me and I was offered no guarantee whatsoever. I also realized today I was going to be paying almost double the amount since the interest rate is 22% and I was not communicated this. Not only that but I was never given the Wisconsin buyers guide which I’m just finding out that it’s something they are supposed to give to me when the vehicle was sold. Honestly I feel like I was taking advantage for my lack of knowledge in this subject but something needs to happen with everything this company is wrongdoing.

Dont take your vehicle there to get fixed 6 months later it still wont be fixed but a bunch or other stuff will be that wasn't what you took it in there for

I called to schedule an oil change and I was told that it expired. I added those in my purchase price. I'll buy my vehicles elsewhere
