We came to camp mid September and overall had an okay time. The lake itself was full of algae to the point you couldn’t even see the water. Was not something we wanted to swim or kayak in. Bathrooms were dirty most of the time and the shower water was cold both times. The camp sites were spacious and had good tree cover but sandy and full of twigs and brush. Messy and bit uncomfortable to tent on. Not a park that I feel the need to return to

We stayed at bluewater Bay. We arrived at night and the campsite felt secluded at first. In the daylight.... Not so much. Campsites were very close and there were walking path to neighboring campsites. It was still pretty quiet, we really didn't hear much from other campsites except a child's curious questions and a father desperately trying to get them to sleep.
The campsite we stayed at didn't have a lot of space but worked for what we needed it to. The office was a cute little area. They sell souvenirs that give back to state parks. The person that was working the office over the weekend was super nice, super helpful, and very welcoming.
The bathrooms were close, the pits were smelly and pretty unsanitary but if you need to go you need to go. They also had bathrooms with running water nearby. They were much more clean and didn't smell terrible.
Additionally, around our campsite were these plants that had seeds(not spikey) and such that stick to any kind of fabric. They also stick to animal fur and I spent quite a bit of time trying to pull them out of my long-haired dog. This was not fun. We should have brought his brush. They caused him little to no pain, however. So I'm not upset about it, just wasn't expecting it.
We walked down by the beach and it was kind of disappointing if I'm being honest. The smell from the pit bathrooms that are located there was the only thing we could smell. The water didn't look very clean to swim in. It was too cold anyway. They had a nice little playground there too. There are some areas over there animals are not allowed and we had my dog so we didn't get a closer look.

Excellent WI state park. Gorgeous property, great family friendly activities and a trail that takes you directly to Ishnala Supper Club!
Sites feel pretty private, but noise reminds you it’s a state park and not in the wilderness.
Excellent, clean facilities (showers and bathrooms) and the staff is friendly.
Excited to stay here again in the future.

The park is spaced perfectly from the surrounding campers. I have experience with a few campgrounds in the area and they all try to smash as many campers into the smallest areas. Not here. Large campground with great sites. Rv dump site. Great for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. If you can get a site in the warmer months it would be a great area to explore the Wisconsin dells from using the site as a base camp. Shower facility is well maintained and clean. Overall great experience.

Beautiful hiking trails with some great gorges and lake views. We didn't camp, but we enjoyed our afternoon here.

Nice people / staff, the campground was clean, the bathrooms clean, sites good size, private. The parking lot by the boat ramp could be larger.

Nice campground close to the dells, beautiful lake to kayak around or rent a boat. Not great fishing from shore as its fished all day every day and very pressured. Nice place to camp and enjoy nature while still being close to the city.

Love this state park. Mirror Lake is always clean, well maintained, and easy to enjoy. It’s beautiful year-round, and believe it or not, it stays quiet and peaceful compared to the busy scene at Devil’s Lake. Don't double dip in my sauce
