Karen, one of the pharmacy techs was highly rude towards my husband and I. I have never had this type of experience, but it keeps happening i will be changing pharmacies and reporting the issues more often

It's short staffed like everywhere these days. Everyone is so stressed out and many staff members are rude. One particular pharmacist won't even look at you. When she hands out meds for the drive thru customers, she won't even walk over to the window, she just talks to you on the phone from the other end of the pharmacy like she can't be bothered and you're just a number.

They will take days to fill a prescription while they have 7-8 people working at the pharmacy. Margie to be specific is racist and rude, I was at the drive-through window there forgot to hang up after asking my name and then Margie proceeded to make fun of my name. My name is ethnic.. The next day I went to pick up my prescription in there there was a Hispanic gentleman who spoke little to no English and Margie kept raising her voice at him asking him, “Do you even understand what this means”. I brought this up when I was at the pharmacy and asked them what is the delay in getting this ready? She said sorry we are under staffed. you have EIGHT people working. EIGHT. you can’t be understaffed. If your staff weren’t racist, and took their time to do their job instead of being rude and making fun of clients then maybe our scripts would be filled within timely manner.
Anyways, Day three I had another prescription sent over here that I absolutely needed it because it was for an infection so the earlier I take it the better. Again, The prescription was stuck in the Order status that said “processing”. I finally called a local retailer store nearby and ask them to transfer it over even he said that we have had many people transferred over because Walgreens people are rude and they take so much time. They are not understaffed they just lack work ethics.
Margie to be specific, you wouldn’t be getting a check if it wasn’t for us sending scripts over. You have food on the table cause of Walgreens customer. You are setting a bad example. Also, be nice to the new employee you were training on Thursday, December 5th at 5pm. Your attitude is rebellious.
Regards,
A FORMER Walgreens Pharmacy customer.

I hate leaving negative reviews for places that aren’t generally all too bad but there is no excuse for the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism my diabetic wife had to deal with today with margie in the pharmacy, i understand these people are just doing their jobs, however there is no reason anybody working in customer service should have the level of audacity to be able to slam the phone on us and roll their eyes when we tried explaining her prescription was not for insulin shots but for a diabetic pump. i just do not understand how a pharmacist is gonna argue over a diabetics medication. RIDICULOUS!”

Customer service is poor. Too many issues with the pharmacy. They are slow at filling prescriptions, sometimes take days. They had some "issue with insurance" but when I called I couldn't get a real person and when I did they just said what the email said and hung up. My family and I won't use Walgreens anymore.

Not sure why Karen (pharmacy technician's actual name) is @ the pharmacy because she is obviously not enjoying helping people. I thought it might just be me but while I was browsing in the isle I heard her interact with other people too the same way (did not put in any effort in finding this poor man's prescription & after she did instead of apologizing, she kept trying to blame other parties of her incompetence). Initially I just thought she was having a bad day, but every time I interact with her she is not very nice: she gets frustrated when she spells the name wrong & just says that "you are not in the system". When my insurance changed I asked if my insurance was on file & she said yes without looking at the card that I was showing, ending up paying more fore my script (next refill a different tech confirmed that the card was not updated). I work at a medical facility & we send prescriptions there to be filled & it always takes a couple of faxes &/or phone calls to fill a script. She is always acting like she is doing me a favour or like "I'm pulling her teeth". I'm not one to jump & bash people or a local business, maybe I ever wrote 5 reviews on Google but Karen needs to go retire or find something that makes her happy that doesn't involve customer service. As you can see from another review I attached on Karen, we are not alone. Sad that sick people are treated like this by a lady like figure that should probably work at the MeatMarket on Wednesdays.

Hands down the best pharmacy! The workers are friendly and helpful. I called for the status on some meds and had them ready by the time I got there. Efficient and convenient.

Angie is the photo department was so nice! Both her and Heather were rushing around trying to fill orders but Angie took time to be helpful and wish her customers a Merry Christmas. She was super sweet to someone who needed help with a photo order, and was patient with the customers!

Spent 3 minutes at the Consultation window waiting for someone to help me. There was a pharmacist and assistant two feet away looking at a computer. Didn't look up.

Pharmacy employees are rude and short with their time. Always feel like I’m an inconvenience to them while picking up my prescriptions.

A great resource for vitamins, but I didn't appreciate the undeserved eye-roll while having trouble making change because one coin spot in the drawer was low or empty. Otherwise, a nice visit. I will be back.

A frustrating place to pick up prescriptions. The staff is rude and confrontational. I'm not trying to ruin their day, I just want to pick up my medicine and go home.

Some of the employees at the Baraboo Wisconsin store can be rude and short,a vew are great. It seems it is a very very busy work place with unhappy employees and that goes back to poor management all the way to the top IT IS POSSIBLE TO BE EXTREMELY BUSY AND AND ENJOY YOU EMPLOYMENT.
