Willowood Inn is a cute, nostalgic, and unique motel far from your typical stay. It is renovate and clean but keeps its charm, with great decor both inside and out. Each room is unique, featuring different themes from local inspirations. The rooms are extremely clean and well-priced, offering a refrigerator and coffee maker. The inn has a perfect location, perhaps the closest to the lake, with great proximity to many sites. It is just a few minutes from Devils Lake State Park, wineries, a brewery, and downtown Baraboo, with some within walking distance. The staff are very nice, friendly, accommodating, and provide great service. The owners are super nice and friendly, offering great local advice. Guests enjoy the free continental breakfast and a VHS library with VCRs in every room. The view is great prairie wilderness. It is highly recommended for a unique stay.

Fantastic location! We stayed in Unit #14, European Suite with a queen bed in one room and 2 twin beds in the other. Stayed overnight, quiet and secluded. Nice public area on back side of units. We really enjoyed out stay!
