It's a Dollar general. Cash back is awesome for soap and other random things. Would be nice to see a fountain soda machine and a section for fresh food like DG MARKET has. Just remodeled over the 4th of 2025 with more freezer space.

Manager got an attitude problem, blames everything on her employees when she’s the one in the wrong. I love the queer employee tho, the only one that seems to be holding this store down.

I literally had to find someone to run the register. I worked retail for 35 years in management and understand they need to stock and work not just stand at the register. They need to figure out how to stay closer or loose their customers. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Barron store is always messy, stuff sitting in aisles hard to get through store. Employees..a few friendly ones, others make you feel like you are bothering them. Have self check out now, which helps the line move faster. A/C apparently hasn'tbeen working for couple of weeks now, you go in and the store is closed at noon cause it's to hot !! I remember stores not having A/C, they used fans, you have fans at store.If you can't afford to fix A/C, then how Is being open for 4 hours going to pay for it!! Just wait until Fall when it cools down I guess, stores will be open regular hours then. Sure hope the heat works !! Used to like this store, but it's going down hill fast. Weather it's management at this store, or more of a corporate office not caring and following thru to improve their stores, someone needs to open their eyes and fix the issues.

The best that can be said about this store is we don't have to go all the way to Rice Lake! However, I do not know how this store stays open with the mess it is in. Today was particularly bad in the store with packaging materials laying all over the floor. This store always seems to be in disarray!!!

The guy working tonight was very friendly and helpful. I chatted him up for ideas for stocking stuffers and he helped me out. Made my evening.

There is so much wrong with this store the staff yell across the the store and even act as entitled to think they have to have it there way. There is so much garbage around that store. Any other DG is better than this one. They leave items they don't have in shelves inside there stocking carts but are to lazy to stick the items. The store is so in organized. The staff get upset huffy and puffy if you put more than 5 items on the register. Not to mention if we ask for there name they denied it. And as for the food half of it is spoiled and the coolers aren't even warm enough to keep stuff cold.

It's not like Walmart but it's convenient and usually good priced. The only issue I have is that the store hours more recently change without notice but I understand that is due to being short staffed or other unfortunate events but it still is a inconvenience to those who depend on them to be open until a certain time

I went to Barron dollar general, trying to add money to my Apple ID. I am disabled with rheumatoid arthritis, I am literally sitting at the ER right now due to a flare up and I can’t walk without unbearable pain.
