When I looked up Donan's on the internet, it told me they were open until p m on Sat.s I made a special 30 mile round trip to purchase a gift for a great-grandchild's birthday party tomorrow. When I arrived, the sign on the door said: Open by appoinmtent only. It seems logical that could have been mentioned on the internet....

Best furniture ever! All handmade by the Amish! It will outlast our lifetime & will be handed down for generations to come-I hope! Quality lifetime furniture!

They made my ROCKING chair by hand. Kept it covered for weeks, afraid it would get dust on it ! My husband got lots of kudos for that. Beautiful craftsmanship. No blemishes. Just so beautiful. Husband and wife were very gracious and wrapped it and loaded into van. We couldn't afford it. But my husband made it happen.
