Very lovely store but unfortunately they don't seem to care about customers or selling items. I went into the store today and wanted to purchase something, but there were no employees around on the first floor. I could hear people upstairs but no one acknowledged me or came to help. Pretty disappointed and I won't go in there again. I went to another local shop and got wonderful service there.

Cool stuff, but not great customer experience. Super quiet, I think I was greeted but the owner was talking with a customer/friend anyway. When I headed to walk out, no "thanks for coming" or "have a good day" or anything - just flipping thru a magazine. Closed sign was up as I left, odd 20-30 mins before close, so I suppose customers weren't wanted anymore...

Their sign is a bit misleading, in that it said "lifestyle apparel, toys, gifts, yarn" The yarn bit should have clued me in. Very nice place, for what it was. But it wasn't THAT.

I was attracted to the large sign saying YARN. There was a great variety but not the typical yarn. There were some examples of the various yarn in projects. There were also patterns available. I found a shawl that had been knitted. I was able to select the yarn and received the pattern free.

Delightful selection of clothes, including socks, toys, games and yarns. This place provides materials for hours of fun.

Love, love, love the amount of yarn, the pattern books and the examples. All nicely displayed on the first floor. If you look at the size of the city this store is huge. Little remark though. Was here for at least twenty minutes browsing through the books and yarns and I saw no staff...... Meanwhile, two ladies we're busy downstairs discussies things. So a wide variety of yarns and patterns for crochette and knitting, but no so big in service. Downstairs you'll find all kind of things. Clothes, shoes, little gifts.

This store on Rittenhouse next to Big Water Coffee Shop in Bayfield, WI has a modest front, but is packed with a wonderful selection of items - you name it! Great for the tourists but also a constant stop for locals. AND what I finally discovered after a few visits is that it has a great yarn store upstairs. What a selection! A feast for the eyes and the knitting/crocheting hands up here in the snowy north. A group of needle-women (and sometimes men) get together on Wednesday afternoons in the comfy sitting area to click away and share stories.
