I was told I needed an engine flush for my high-mileage car. I took them on their word and paid $70+dollars for it. While I was waiting, a call from a friend and a quick Google search taught me that not only did I not need it, but doing this to a high-mileage car can cause oil leaks or plugs. All that so someone could make a little commission.
