Been coming here since my child was 2, AND NEVER had any issues, the pass few times we’ve been here have been bad. Today 6-19-25 we had an appointment at 1130 here it is 1pm and they’ve left us sitting here. NEVER gave any options for her to pick. Just left us sitting there until finally a nice woman helped us. We then had to ASK for the options for the frames our insurance covered. I’ve never had an experience like this and hope it’s fixed we’ve been valued customers since it was located at the shopko plaza. April needs to either work in the back or fix her attitude.

Horrible experience at the Beloit store. From the moment I walked in I could tell it was a very unorganized environment. The store was messy and unkept. My appointment was pushed back 30 minutes because they forgot about another customer and left him waiting without ever checking him in. A employee had two unruly kids behind the counter during her shift. No one checked my insurance till I was in the exam room only to find out my insurance would not cover a telehealth exam but this was the only kind of exam that was offered on the website. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

This place is thieves from management to the floor person's. They over charge and refuse to tell you that you can opt out of certain things during eye exams to steal 39.99 that is unnecessary to need it's a ploy to steal millions from shoppers. They got wife and I for 85.00 with this and they never said a word to us that it's not needed just added it and had us sign and said you signed for it no apology nothing, just cold blooded lied and stole 85.00.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We pay 11.00 a month for eye vision and still paid 308.00 for cheapest frames 108.00/112.00 that cost 15.89/28.00 at Walmart for same frames when I went to check stores difference's. I'll be cancelling my insurance if that's all covers and paying cash for eye tests n glasses . Avoid Shopko optical and save yourself alot of stress.

Got a card saying time to schedule appointment so accordingly to card oil did it online. My appointment is for 11am tomorrow and they just now call to reschedule farther out with a real doctor not with telehealth doctor. How bogus can Shopko Optical become, first do not schedule your appointment online, as they will call the day b4 to reschedule. I might be taking my NY eye appointment to another doctor. DO NOT SCHEDULE ONLINE APPOINTMENTS WITH SHOPKO OPTICAL

Great service and wonderful staff! Brooklyn was amazing, it was really busy and she handled it all life a boss!
Also tried the new virtual Dr. And she was also great.

This is one of the best eye doctors i have been to. They lady's are super helpful with everything. Even list when you ask different question about different.
A pair of my glasses broken I called the office they said go ahead and bring them in right away. They lady that helped me according to my issued tried her best to fit them, but unfortunately, had to order a new pair. She explained everything about it.

The Doctor took time and listened to my concerns about my vision. He was able to answer My questions and help me understand what was going on with my vision. The office gals were friendly and helpful and the place was clean.
