This was strange- they present themselves as a "pet friendly" hotel. If you really dig for details on the website, they only specify 2 pets maximum with a 40 pound limit. On arrival, I was told that cats are not allowed, and there is also a 3-night maximum stay for people with pets (I booked for 5 nights with a cat). There is also an additional $20/night fee for pets that is posted on a sign at the desk, which is fine but all of these policies should be listed on their website as well so that people aren't surprised. They did graciously allow me to check in with my pet and stay the 5 nights that I had already paid for. Most amenities were closed for this full time, and ongoing renovations had the entire place smelling strongly of glue and paint. Rooms are slightly sketchy in various ways- toilet flushing at a 50% success rate, only 1 outlet available (not near the bed), the fridge was so cold that my drinks exploded, foul smell coming from the heater whenever the vent kicked on. Generally, not great.

Bed bugs, bed bugs, woke up around 1 a.m. with a painful itch and found that there was a bed bug. I called the manager and talked to him, and he said that since they had just renovated, they didn't have any bed bugs and that I brought the bed bugs with me. I was shocked and looked at it, but they said the guest who stayed there last night had left it behind so they changed my room. This hotel is not worth giving even one star. There was a moldy smell in the room, and it was unpleasant. If you don't want to be bitten by bed bugs, don't go to this hotel.

My husband and I, along with my service dog stayed for two nights on Easter Weekend. We had a handicapped room. It was spacious. The bathroom was nice. I like the mirror surrounded by lights. The receptionist was awesome. Breakfast was good. Already booked room for next trip to visit parents. I would give more stars but 5 was the maximum I could put. Great job.

I was given a room that the toilet didn't work. We didn't realize this until the middle of the night. I called the front desk, and they asked if I could fix it. I was told there were no more rooms to switch to on my floor. I didn't try very hard to get a new room, as it was the middle of the night and we were tired. I've called several times to talk to a manager and they keep telling me the manager only works in the morning and they will call me back.

Great service, rooms are tired and the bath had been painted but was peeling which was weird. Biggest issue as with so many hotels, I specifically chose this hotel as it advertises a Hot Tub. Surprise surprise, out of service. Please make this clear when booking as if you had I’d have chosen somewhere else.

Around $83 per night for walk-in is a little too much but every other hotel around is even more expensive. Cheapest place in the town for walk in stay.Rooms: Average rooms but a decent bed.Food & drinks: Breakfast is from 6AM to 9AM

The Super 8 hotel on Milwaukee Rd in Beloit Wi. Where your made to feel more like a Pest than a Guest! The key cards would keep deactivating and we would have to constantly go to the counter to have them fix them. My brother got sick and before I could grab something for him He got a small amount of vomit on the top and bottom sheet. When I told the lady at the front counter we we need a new pair of sheets she literally rolled her eyes and told me to try to not let it happen again. The place was a dump. No hospitality there. Under the desk in our room there was painted over mold on the wall. I could go on but you get the picture. Never again!Noteworthy details: I would like to answer the question, How would you describe the hotel but none of those options applied. The woman at the counter must hate her job.

The woman at the service desk was rude, when we check in and get to our room the room keys would not work. I went to where we check in and she rolls her eyes while asking what do I need. Not a good place to go, very rude

It was a good overnight stay. Nothing fancy, but a nice room. The plumbing system made it a little hard to fall asleep... every time anybody in the hotel flushed a toilet you heard the plumbing. Didn't stay for breakfast, but it looked good.

Rooms need to be much fresher, breakfast was good .Hospitality was friendly, the building can use some upgrades, but they still get business on the weekend. If you're on a tight budget, then there you go. Remember you get what you pay for.
