I never used the mechanic services, but I did look at a car to purchase on the lot. KBB and Car Max both showed that the vehicle was overpriced by 25-30% and that was the value of what an actual dealership would list it at, not a small independent auto dealership. I offered 14% less than what Kyle was asking and he said no. He told me "Inventory is too hard to come by right now so I need to get as much as I can out of each vehicle". Two weeks later (after I already purchased another vehicle at Meeker Hill, great place btw!) sure enough I get notified that he reduced the price to what I offered in the first place. This is a pretty good example of how NOT to do business.

The owners and operators of Currah's Automotive are a husband/wife couple.Believe me when I say this mechanic is (((HONEST))). I send all my friends to them...and I especially send ALL my single female friends to them, telling them it is worth the extra miles to drive out of Milwaukee to Big Bend; not because they offer loaner vehicles. I send them out their because Currah's is --what has become a nearly extinct breed; they are an honest, competitively priced business, whose owners actually seem to really enjoy what they do.

I had a very positive experience with Currah's from start to finish. I purchased a used vehicle from them. Scott was personable and communicated directly with me the entire time. He was honest and straightforward about the car and never once tried to upsell me or push the car as anything more than it was. Jill was also very helpful and the two of them quite friendly. Prices were fair and accurate. This is the kind of family-owned, small shop you hope to do business with - a pleasure!
