“Just got back from a midweek stay and loved every minute of it.
The staff was awesome. Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. And why not, they work in the most beautiful environment where relaxation is the whole point.
I got in a nice 45 minute float in the pristine waters of Red Cedar lake, hiked the nature path to a spot where 2 Adirondack chairs were waiting to sit and watch the clouds roll by. Then a nice dinner followed by complimentary Smores.
The pastries at breakfast were welcome too! We didn't take advantage of the fishing gear or various boats that are laid out around the island, but we have in the past. There are also plenty of games outside or indoors to please everyone.
We hated to leave, but we're going back.”
“Went at 3pm for unlimited golf, was more than satisfied. Great course, fun for everyone. There was a men’s league on the Tuesday we went, so only got the front nine but had a blast and would go again on future trips! Look forward to playing the back nine as well. Girl at the pro shop was nice and very helpful.”

“One of the few motels we love! Walking distance to downtown Birchwood, right across from the trails. Rooms are clean, they have coffee makers and blow dryers, TV's are decent size. There's a dresser, fridge, microwave, table and chair and two beds. It's a great place and very cost efficient”

“We've been making June and October trips here for many, many years. The fishing is awesome. The resort has a great selection of cabins with great lake views. The fish cleaning house is roomy and always clean. The "boat garage" keeps your boat and equipment dry.But really the best part of this resort is the owners. Gene, Nancy, Roy and Laura will do everything possible to make sure your stay is enjoyable and hassle-free. They have gone above and beyond more times than I can count.”
